Prestige Air Conditioning

I had never used this company before but I was desperate since ac went out late on a Saturday evening in the midst of a summer storm. Tech called me back almost immediately and came out at 9pm and repaired a/​c during lull in storm. Very thankful I could get someone out right away and did not have to spend a muggy night without air. Tech was Thomas and he was very polite and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend and would use their services again.

I highly recommend this AC company, they always answer their phones, they have ethics, always on time, best techs and fair prices. Definitely the best in West Palm. Five stars all the way

What a joy it was dealing with everyone at Prestige Air Conditioning. Barbara took my initial call and she could not have been nicer, more helpful or informative. My technician, David, was out first thing the next morning to assess the problem and give me options for correcting it. Turned out to be a gas leak in the coils outside. There were only 4 days left on my warranty and I had a decision to make, get an all new system or repair what I had under warranty. In the end I got the repair done. David went above and beyond the call of duty to help me procure the new coil I needed in time to meet the warranty deadline. He came out this morning and got me up and cool again. He was most helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. He explained everything each step of the way and really seemed concerned about getting me back in cool air again as soon as possible.
Our family has used another local Company for all AC needs for many many years, however I was not pleased with their service the last time they did a repair for me. (I Checked here on Unilocal and they only have a 1 Star rating.) I decided to read some reviews and try someone new. So glad I did! I’ve got a new AC company now! Great service, great people, reasonable prices. I’ll definitely use them again.

We called Prestige, spoke to their automated call center about having someone give a quote for an a/​c repair. They said someone would call and schedule an appointment. We missed their call and the message we got was inaudible. The next morning, someone from Prestige knocked on our door to give a quote. We thought that was nice considering we didn’t make an appointment. He spent 10 minutes looking at our a/​c gave us a quote and a bill for $ 45 for the estimate. No one said there was a $ 45 fee in the phone call we made or when he just showed up at our door without an appointment. When we said we weren’t going to pay that because we weren’t informed of the fee and never authorized an appointment, he said don’t call us back for the repairs and huffed and puffed on his way out the door. Very unprofessional. Will never call back.

I called Prestige for service and within the hour, technician Herman was at my mothers front door. Not only was he very polite but he was very professional. He got my air conditioner working within minutes at a very reasonable price! I highly recommend Prestige!

I had duct cleaning by Prestige AC in my house in Palm Beach Gardens and it was very unpleasant experience. The guy brushed 12 vents out of 25 in my house and wanted to get payment for all 25 vents insisting that cleaning one vent in the room makes the other three in the same room automatically clean. He tried to get an extra $ 400 for the work he did not do. What a shame!

My AC system has had many issues over the years and o usually call a family friend. Having a chance to take time off I decided to call prestige. They were very polite and made me an appointment for the following Monday so as to make sure it could be repaired same day. The technician was very polite and informative, he even showed me how he tested the part that was having issues before replacing it. My only issue is that I still have not received my receipt for payment.

Our home AC was not working last Sept 18−19^th and Prestige quickly responded determining it was a bad fan motor and faulty cap. Their response time was excellent only charging $ 45 for the estimate. Only problem was that the estimate was $ 600 that I did not have. I called a competitor using their estimate and was able to get the repair done by another licensed company the same day for only $ 270. Had the new estimate been higher, I would have called Prestige back. The heat and frustration made $ 600 look reasonable but I am glad I hesitated and shopped a little more despite my family’s stress level on a hot day.
Recently, I was contacted by the office manager as a follow up to my review on Unilocal and she took the time to speak with me and to events above. She apologized and explained they normally charge around $ 250 for the same service and the technician made an error quoting me much higher; so her office would be meeting with the technician to train and discuss my review with him. I found it very professional and prudent to follow up with customers and they did send me a check refunding me for the estimate. This was unexpected and nice of them to do without me asking. I have changed my one star review to 4 stars because of the way this company reacted to my review.

I chose this company based on the Unilocal reviews and am so happy I did. I called them at 3:00 for hopefully a same day service. They were short handed due to someone being out sick. They still fit me in and were at my house by 5 and fixed the problem with much less money than I was expecting. I am very grateful and will definitely use and recommend this company again! I just wanted to let you about my experience with your tech Fritz. I have had many workmen in my home over the years and Fritz exceeded all my expectations. He is personable, polite and has a warm engaging smile. I teach soft skills to high school and college students and he has all of them and more. It is such a refreshing change to have someone in my home who I can refer to other people and know they will be in good hands.

I followed the reviews and their service did not disappoint. Air conditioning was leaking bad. On a Saturday late afternoon. I was worried we would have to pay extra or wait a day. Nope. We called and within an hour, a service man was at our doorstep. He was a friendly guy. He took care of the problem in no time, and the service fee was very reasonable. If I ever need air conditioning service, this company will get my business. I highly recommend them.

I had my 3.5 ton central unit installed today. Everything was perfect! Best price, excellent installation. I will do business with this company again. Highly recommend to everyone!

We called Prestige, on the basis of Unilocal reviews, and actually spoke with the manager. Tom was sent out to repair our mother’s old air conditioning unit and he did so professionally and efficiently. The price was very reasonable. Tom was knowledgeable and courteous and treated our elderly mother with respect. They will be our go-​to company from now on.

Prestige serviced my A/​C unit for a few years, and when time came to replace it, they offered the best choice in terms of quality and price. My new unit is more efficient and lest costly to operate. Installation was done professionally with excellent follow up. Since then they have serviced my unit and are always prompt and reliable. I’ve also recommended Prestige to neighbors with no hesitation.

The air conditioning in my 94 year old mother’s house went out late in the afternoon on a hot August day. I called Prestige and Thomas showed up in about a half hour. He found some faulty wiring outside the house, got the A/​C working in minutes, but told me that wiring inside the house would cause it to fail again. (He did not have the equipment with him to do the full job.) That night the A/​C failed again. Thomas came back and, in a driving rain, got it working. The next morning he arrived at 8 AM and did the complete job. When does he sleep? It has now been a few weeks and all is working just fine. Outstanding personal commitment and great service. Will always use these guys.

I just called and asked if they could give me a quote for a new air conditioning system for my house in Lake Worth, along with a multifamily building on the property in Lake Worth. I was told that «we don’t do that», and when I asked why, he wouldn’t answer, just repeating, «we don’t do that». Was it because I’m a woman asking for this? Is it because it is in Lake Worth, a perceived low income area? It was handled in a very rude manner, and was quite off-​putting.

I received a call today from prestige air asking me about service experience. What a nice touch. Top notch in my book.
