Quite disappointed. Funny thing about this appointment is that prior to leaving, my coworker mentioned that she is looking for a new optometrist… and to let her know how this appointment went because she would consider switching. I scheduled an appointment to renew both my glasses prescription and my contact lenses prescription — this was mentioned on the phone when I made the appointment AND on all of my paperwork that I filled out. I mistakenly thought that someone there, particularly the doctor, would read the paperwork. I rearranged my work schedule around my own patient appointments to make this appointment… and when I asked about the contact lenses I was told«No one told me… You’ll have to come back». Fine. I’m then shuttled to the optician to look at frames. The prices were fairly high, although standard for brick and mortar establishments. I told the optician that I would pass on the new frames for now and would probably purchase online instead. That was the end of her friendliness. I then had to sign a waiver acknowledging that Premier Eye Center is not responsible for glass that I purchase online through another retailer(uhm…no kidding) and the optician then stated, «those online stores always mess up and you WILL have problems». She clearly missed my prior statement re: having purchased online for the last 3 years and having received excellent service. I’m thinking this place could use an education in that. Nonetheless, I returned to work and proceeded to inform my own office staff about my experience… particularly how proud I am that we 1) read patient files and 2) don’t operate with used car dealership tactics. Bottom line… go to someone else.
