McCray’s World Famous Food Truck

My boyfriend and I came across this place while we were driving home. After we made it to the line it seems like everyone started parking their cars and getting in line behind us. I ordered half ribs half chicken, macaroni and cheese and potato salad. I was kind of excited to taste the food because there was a long line behind us. Unfortunately I did not like the food. They are advertising BBQ ribs straight from their backyard but that is not what I received. The ribs were well seasoned but I couldn’t enjoy it because it was extremely cold. The chicken was dried and cold. The mac-​n-​cheese did not look or taste fresh. The Mac-​n-​cheese was a little on the clumpy side. The potato salad was the best thing on the plate only because it’s kind of hard to mess up potato salad especially if it does not have eggs in it. I was disappointed but I thought maybe yesterday was not a good day for them. I give them credit for setting up the food truck at a spacious location and for providing a tent attached to the truck for the heat. I also respect their hustle too.

I have been a big BBQ fan and have enjoyed McCrays food for a very long time.
The other day I saw their truck set up off of Old Dixie in WPB and had to stop for my favorite a Rib Sandwich and it was delicious as always.
I rarely give 5 stars but for a food truck, their BBQ is outstanding and they deserve it.

This is my first review and I’m happy to start here. I have been a customer for many many years. This place rocks! The ribs and chicken are supreme. The sauce is heavenly with a Texas sweet side to it.
I do wish they served beef ribs… But I can’t have it all. I can’t wait for my next meal.

His sauces are AMAZING! Love it. Wish he could be open all the time. I always drive by to see what’s cooking.

Best food truck in west palm beach. My go to spot for amazing BBQ everytime I get a chance to go to wpb.
