First timer & what a great experience! Our server Santiago was so great! All the staff had such amazing customer service. If any waiters saw we needed more bread, they came with a fresh basket-no questions asked. My dads order came out wrong & the waiter switched it immediately and even gave us an extra tiramisu dessert-on the house! :) such complimentary service. I can not say enough good things about this place! Food was delicious, amazing service, great atmosphere and clean everything! Very very pleased. Will definitely be coming here again as well as recommending this place to others :)

Had lunch here with my two nephews and it was pleasant, nice staff clean attentive. Reasonable lunch prices and the food was tasty. My only complaint was the birds flying inside the restaurant-that freak me out. I’ll be back to try dinner…

This is a charming Italian restaurant in City Place. The patio overlooks the fountains which I imagine is delightful. I stopped in for lunch around 1:30pm and was seated right away. The service was excellent, I had the Rigatoni Dello Chef. Perfect lunch portion and the flavors were spot on. The dish had broccoli rabe, sausage, garlic, olive oil and tomatoes. It was delicious. A little pricey for FL but it won’t break the bank. The patio area looked lively, but it’s Florida so I sat inside. The noise level was pretty high and there weren’t that many people so I imagine at night this place is bumping. Again, excellent service and I’d visit again.

The restaurant is very clean and well laid out. The staff are all very nice and professional. The food was priced affordably. I got the chicken parmigiana, which was good but nothing outstanding(I am Italian so maybe I’m too picky). The other people I was with got pasta dishes which said were fantastic. Overall, I enjoyed my experience and recommend the restaurant to others.

I recently had lunch with my sister and overall the experience was good. Food was over the top good, which bumped up my review from 3 to 4 stars as service was eh… Our servers fake Italian accent, although comical did not make up for his crappy service. The restaurant was not busy, so no excuse there. He was simply too busy talking to the table next to us about his previous life in NY. On to the food! My sister had the stuffed veal chop, which was so beautifully presented and the flavored were on point! I had the mushroom risotto and although it was a little thicker than I’ve had in the past, it was spot on and delicious. Great spot for lunch or dinner.

Came here for a friends birthday celebrations. They do not take reservations but we came on a Wednesday and didn’t have to wait surprisingly for a party of 10. The service was okay, I felt like I was constantly telling the waiter to do his job more tha be served as a guest. I had to ask for the menus, silver wear, constant refills on water, etc. I got the Rigatoni Genovese which was really good! If you like pesto definitely try this! My friend got the Linguine Frutti di Mare which was a seafood melody tossed in a red sauce over pasta, really good! Another note about this restaurant is that outside our table the door was open and it seemed to be there«pet duck» because there was a water bowl for him. I didn’t mind because I am an animal lover but just to be noted for other customers he was sitting there for our entire dinner but didn’t bother us, just sat there. For desert I personally bought a cake from home for the birthday girl and they do charge 2.50 $ per plate to share the cake, but he was nice enough to not to charge us that night.

Happened upon this restaurant and enjoyed the live music in the plaza from the patio. Great dinner experience. Portions were large and well seasoned. We were surprised to see potatoes with our chicken dishes, but they too were well seasoned, prepared and presented. Better experience than The Hill in St. Louis.

The food was decent, waiters were on a mission to avoid eye-contact and concentrate on guests on the patio rather than inside. the food was decent but serving soda with a can on your table is off putting and takes the class out of the place. This also means no free refills since it is indivdual cans.

Food here was great and the location is awesome. Come here with a crowd and you will have a blast. I ordered Shrimp franchese not on menu and they made it anyway. Another friend wanted Carbonara not on menu but they made it anyway. We brought our own cake for my buddy’s Birthday and they had no problem serving it for us. The service was second to none. Thank you for a great time.

If pastacide, the killing of pasta, was a crime, the kitchen here would be rounded up by the culinary police. These are guys who think Al Dente is an orthodontist from Palermo. I ordered tagliatelle bolognese, and this time I warned them about the pasta. It came, and it was stuck together and mushy. The bolognese was also pretty awful. Big chunks of dry-ish ground beef that isn’t lumped that way on purpose. Just fast, sloppy cooking. They make up for it with oversized portions and a lot of fats in the food because FATSAREFUN. I’ve had far better pasta at 4D across the courtyard, and with Brio, the restaurant one step above Olive Garden, not the Lego blocks, a block up the street, I wonder why this place remains open. The atmosphere is beautiful, and the service is excellent. If only they gave a damn about what is on their plates and cooked with some passion and authenticity. Not awful but really not good either.

A pleasant experience, and a nice discovery. My friend and I headed to West Palm Beach to visit the Norton Museum of Art, and when we arrived, it was around lunch time. We decided to eat before hitting the museum, so I scanned my Unilocal app and offered different suggestions, until I found this Italian restaurant, which sounded like an appetizing option to my friend. We found parking nearby, at the Sapodilla Garage(which, by the way, is free for the first hour and then about $ 1/hour, since I see a lot of people complaining they paid a «fortune» for parking and complaining about not getting a free parking validation… come to South Beach or Coral Gables, then you’ll see what paying a fortune for parking REALLY is, and good luck finding an establishment that will validate). It was a chilly, windy day and the block or so of walking from the parking garage was pleasant. The building where Il Bellagio is located is reminiscent of an older cream-colored Mediterranean building, with red awnings. It is located next to the large City Place fountain, so people watching is fun and everything is colorful and engaging. There were three dining options: indoors, outdoors while exposed to the crisp air, or outdoors in a zipped canopy, to protect from the cooler, drafty temperatures. I wanted the latter, my friend was trembling and wanted to eat indoors, so indoors it was. The restaurant’s interior was tasteful, in keeping with the quaint Mediterranean exterior, and was modest yet elegant(speaking of elegant, check out their bathroom, you’ll be impressed). We were seated immediately, in a semi-private area, which was nice. We felt we essentially had the whole area to ourselves, privacy, and no boisterous neighbors. The waiter brought us complimentary bread and butter, provided us with the menus, then recited the specials, which included appetizers and entrees. Everything sounded so good, but my friend was a sucker for the lobster bisque appetizer. He ended up talking me into it as well, so we ordered one each(they aren’t cheap, $ 12.00 each, so keep that in mind). The waiter brought us grated cheese and sprinkled it over our bisques. The bisque had a good amount of lobster chunks, which is unusual these days in this cost-cutting economy, but it didn’t have any cognac, which my friend said adds a needed kick. We both liked our bisques, though he thought the cognac would have improved it. Since my friend usually orders chicken parmigiana, he decided to be a little more adventurous and ordered the Veal Francaise. I got the Pollo Paillard, since I am such a lover of mushrooms. It’s also not something I have commonly run across in menus, which made it even more appealing. We ran out of bread and were provided with more, including the addition of some flavorful, lightly seasoned focaccia to our basket. We didn’t wait very long before our entrees came out, though. What a lovely, colorful presentation! Within minutes, they were bringing fresh pepper to grate over the meals, as well as the shaven parmesan cheese. The food was just as delicious as it looks, and it was light, despite Italian food having a reputation for heaviness. The sundried tomatoes added a very interesting rustic flavor to the chicken and mushrooms. My friend loved his meal too, and was glad we stopped by, congratulating me on a great find. Service was on par throughout the meal, the waiter was very quick with water refills, was attentive, and friendly yet professional. After our filling meal, we were offered coffee and dessert. My friend, being the coffee drinker and not having much of a sweet tooth, opted for the coffee. I, being a sweet lover and hating coffee, opted for the dessert. I had a hard time deciding on a dessert as I love all sweets pretty much, except anything containing coffee, and a lot of the desserts on the menu were unusual and hard to come by. I finally decided to get the Frutti di Bosco. It was so colorful and pretty, I almost felt bad eating it and tearing it apart. Almost. The colors, the fruit, and the sprinkled sugar reminded me of winter, so it felt very appropriate to have that tart on a January day. The berries had a perfect combination of sweetness and tartness, which combined well with the sweet powdered sugar, and the sweet whipped cream on the side. Of course I did not share any of it(not that my friend asked, anyway). Our only complaint, if you can call it that, was the choice of electronic instrumental music throughout the meal. We both remarked almost at the same time that Sinatra would be more appropriate, not just because of the fact it is an Italian restaurant, but the vibe, atmosphere, and décor would be better suited to that. He even suggested playing some Italian opera. I think any Italian music would be a fine choice, Laura Pausini, Eros Ramazzotti, Andrea Bocelli… but Deadmau5? Really? Considering most of their clientele is middle-aged(50s or so), I found it an odd choice.

Wow… this is the place to go at City Place if you’re looking for great atmosphere, service and food at great prices. Be sure to ask for seating at one of «Vincenzo’s» tables. This waiter made us feel extremely welcomed and like family. His suggestions were spot on with the grilled octopus appetizer and parpadelle pasta with bolognese sauce entrée. Until the next time… MANGIA!!!

On a relaxing weekend in Palm Beach and looking for an early happy hour for a late lunch(but too early for dinner) on a Sunday afternoon and we stumble upon this delightful find at City Place. Great apps under $ 5 with $ 5 drink specials. We shared meatball sliders, gnocchi, and mozzarella caprese… all delicious and filling. Not sure why it didn’t come up in my Unilocal search. Definitely check them out!

So I used to work at an Italian place so sometimes just the thought of Italian food makes me nauseous. I rerun toy went to this place and the spaghetti bolognese was out of this world. I’m not sure why exactly but it was outstanding. I only ate half the first time I was there and accidentally left the leftovers on the table. I returned within 5 minutes, they had already threw it out. I’ve was craving it so I returned a week later. I’ve been there three times now and it’s the only thing I order. I do think it’s overpriced but if I crave it, it’s worth it.

We came in for a quick bite before going to a comedy show. We were crunched for time. The bread and water came right away. And as soon as we ordered our pasta, it came within 5 mins. Their service is impeccable. We only mentioned once that we were kinda in a hurry. They were packed for dinner too, so it’s not like it was a slow time for them. They had options to sit inside or outside. It’s location near the fountain makes it an exciting place to eat especially for dinner with live music. We ordered the pennette Harry’s bar. It was delicious. The pasta was cooked to perfection, not too soft not too hard. The culmination of flavors mixed together perfectly including the pine nuts. We also orders the calamari and zucchini combo which is great for a non picky vegetarian to share with meat eating friends. Overall, I would highly recommend this place for food, service, and location.

The Linguine Frutti de Mare with Seafood cooked with too much oil in it however the seafoods were very fresh and the price was appreciated very much to be compared to New York City’s. — Too much oil which would cover the flavor of seafoods. Also asked the linguine to be done a little bit more but when served was not done enough. Too many back waiters… I wonder my request had been reached to the kitchen. The place is clean, good dinner wears, nice location. Otherwise a place like that could use more professional servers.
