The restaurant close at 11pm, the to go window open 24⁄7. Service was great, food was good. The plantain nacho was giant. I can’t finish it, love the crispy of the plantain, it is so delicious & loaded with cheese. The steak was good. The chicken soup was really good too. The shirmps was just ok. The free bread was very delicious. Love it.

After living in Miami for so long, you get accustomed to having an empanada and colada to start your day… This is probably the closest you can get to that vibe, but be warned, it won’t be like you’re abuela’s corner shop. It’s pricey, and the coffee isn’t really that great. They are open 24 hours which is nice considering West Palm doesn’t have too many exciting food options late at night. Does quench my papas rellenas cravings. Their dinner selection has large portions and is OK. Definitely not authentic cuban food, and a little too greasy and lacking flavor for my tastes. Oh, don’t bother with the tres leches. Disaster.

Just arrived at Palm Beach Airport and I immediately started on a quest for good Cuban food. When I am at home, my only choice for Latin/Caribbean food is to drive 130 west to New Orleans. A quick search on Unilocal and I found this treasure in my eyes. The food was delicious and the service outstanding. I am contemplating returning tomorrow night even though it is 20 miles from my hotel… it was that good.

After wanting to try this place for years today was the day. The best thing about this place is the food. We ordered a bunch of different things to try: ropa vieja, lechon sandwich, rice, beans, sweet plantains, guava pastry, cuban coffee, fresh passion fruit juice and beef empanadas. Everything was delicious except for the empanadas which we discovered were missing from the bag when we got home. We couldn’t go back since it’s a half hour drive. They probably are good but I couldn’t tell you since we didn’t have them to try. That’s our bad for not checking which we now make sure to do. The parking situation to put it mildly, stinks. They have a tiny lot which was packed and additional parking on a small side street. We drove around a few times before we finally found a spot. To sum up great food, lousy location, service meh.

This place is awesome and has some of the best Cuban food I’ve ever had. I came here with my family about 2 months ago. The complimentary bread they serve at each table is fresh and very good. For my entrée, I had the CAMARONESALAJILLO with plantains and black beans and everything was delicious. I highly recommend this place if you’re in the area. I definitely plan on coming back here next time I’m in WPB!

Not into it, sorry. We bellied up to the take-out window in the early morning hours, eager to see what all the fuss was about, given the glowing reviews on Unilocal and Tripadvisor. We ordered Cuban sandwiches, an exotic fruit juice and dulce de leche cake. The sandwiches were just okay… the bread wasn’t anything special. The juice was meh and the cake was soggy. Sorry! I seem to be in the minority here.

If I could give this zero stars and a just send a HUGESTAYAWAYWARNING to all I would, but since the start is needed here goes. This place is NOTAUTHENTIC in any way… this is so ridiculous the service was not bad as it was not present at all… we had to flag another waiter down just to get ours only to send the dish back. With so many options for decent food steer clear… «their version» of Cuban food is just awful and flavorless.

Can’t go wrong with this one if you are looking for Cuban food this is one of the most well-known and loved places in the area. Can’t say I’ve explored the menu too deeply, I never seem to get past the insanely delicious Cuban sandwiches and perfect Café Con Leche. Check out the appetizer treats in the warmer at the corner of the take-out window. Both Savory and sweet they never fail to get an… Mmmmm. can’t go wrong with a breakfast sandwich either, Chorizo, cheese and scrambled egg on pressed Cuban bread, my favorite weekend morning guilty pleasure

I’ve never been a huge fan of Cuban food. Mainly coming from my background in the UK, we don’t have any decent restaurants that serve it(that I’ve been to at least). This was really, really good. A friend and I visited this place whilst working at a festival nearby. A short Über from the main busy main area of town. Drink selection was not from a full bar, but they have wine, beer, and a wonderful(recommended) sangria. We ordered the platter — which came with fried chicken pieces, pork, and a tamale. Mains; We went for surf and turf. A thin but ample steak and shrimp with sides of plantains(sweet and garlic) rice and veg. The steak was cooked and spiced to perfection. The shrimp was firm and flavourful, the tamales were great. I preferred the sweet ones personally, but my friend was more into the savoury option — which, lets face it, worked out just fine. We barely managed to finish the food — just saving room for a café cortado at the end of the meal. I can’t spell cortado. Service was superb, never an empty water or sangria glass. Friendly staff and quick service. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place. I’d like a full bar, but that’s about my only reservation. Speaking of which, make one. It was very busy.

Stopped by for desert and coffee, and had the flan & tres leches. Both were quite good. The coraditos were ok, I have had better but they certainly weren’t bad.

What’s there to say? The portions are redonkulous. The rice is outstanding. The coffee is great. Open 24 hours? On busy nights, it’s loud.

LOVE! Best Cuban food in PB County & open 24 hours, how could you not love it?! Service always amazing & food to die for. Get the Chimichurri steak! The quality of melt in your mouth meat will rival the most expensive steakhouses around and their homemade Chimichurri sauce cannot be duplicated(we tried), ugh! Plus sweet plantains, yellow rice and flavorful juicy red beans… OMG. They always serve hot buttered garlic bread while you wait(which is never long even when busy during peak hours). We never leave without getting a café con leche and usually split a flan. Don’t let the neighborhood fool you, this place is a class act!

I had the vaca Frita. It was pretty good. Although I feel like this place isn’t super authentic. It’s flavorful and a good place to visit when in the area.

I don’t usually write reviews for a place that has this many, so I will keep it brief. I found this place on the road food website. Always enjoy going to places from the books Eat Your Way Across the USA and Roadfood, but there weren’t any restaurants close by to where I was going to be spending my vacation. The roadfood website helped me find this place. Dad and I met a friend of mine who recently moved down to Florida at Havana. I knew I was going to get a Cuban sandwich before I even sat down. This was a good one from a place that seems like it has been here a long time. The prices seemed reasonable and the service was very friendly. Open 24 hours? Yes please. I wish we had a place like this where I live.

Havana Restaurant is consistently wonderful ! From the delicious pressed sandwiches ti the delicious Cuban main plates, it’s always great whether you get a quick Cuban at the 24 hr. Take out window or sit inside the lovely interior. Currently undergoing exterior renovations so it will look as pretty outside as it is warm and welcoming inside.

I enjoyed a late lunch here with family recently and i have to say I am impressed. The space is very nice though it is under renovations right now. We were seated promptly, our drink order taken and promptly delivered. Our server was very friendly and professional. I ordered the marinated deep fried pork, yellow rice and black beans. My meal was delivered in a reasonabke amount of time and boy was it something. The pork was tender and juicy on the insude with a oerfevt amount of crisp on the outside. Absolute heaven. The yellow rice was perfect and the black beans were terrific. I absolutely love Cuban food and I see many repeat trips to this establishment in the near future. Keep it up!

Expected to be impressed based on the average 4 star rating. In fact, we wondered why, when we asked an employee at our resort for a Cuban restaurant recommendation, he didn’t mention this place. Maybe this is why: the Pollo Empanizado was a little dry, the Maduros weren’t ripe enough, the tostones were over cooked & flavorless, the Mojo sauce had way too much garlic(mosquitos & vampires should be steering clear of me for the rest of 2015), and the service was just ok. The yellow rice as well as the white rice & black beans were good. On the positive side, we saved some calories; had dinner been better, we would’ve ordered flan & tres leches cake.

When visiting I make an effort to come here! It’s definitely one of my favorite Cuban restaurants! Nice décor inside, cool photos of Cuba and of the architecture, and nice and comfy place. I typically go to the take out window but decided to have lunch inside today. Service was good and food was muy delicioso! Awesome that they give you complimentary garlic toast! A jugo de guava to drink, Cubano sandwich, and some maduros, I was in a happy place! Oh we shared some nachos made from plantains instead of chips… so delicious, especially the fresh garlic oil to accompany it with! Great food and good company today!
