This bar has been running 31 years strong and has quite a history. Recent renovations have made it even better yet. Smoking has been moved to back patio which has worked out well. Super friendly bartenders with excellent drink prices. It’s everything you would expect from a gayborhood bar.

Back in the day, when I lived in West Palm, this was THE place to go in town. Ignore the naysayers here, like Brian P. and Tom L., because they obviously have issues. Gay men reviewing a gay bar with a profile photo posing with a girl are probably in the closet (Tom L.). A gay bar that has operated in South Florida for thirty-​one consecutive years clearly is doing something VERY right!

I’ve been to Roosters a few times with my best friend and, out of all the gay bars in So Flo that I’ve been to, I have to say it’s my favorite. It’s kind of divey, but in a way that I really enjoy, and all of the bartenders are adorable, funny, and so sweet and friendly. There’s a sizable parking lot and you can smoke indoors, too. The crowd is maybe slightly on the older side, but it’s not like you’ll be sitting around and drinking with a bunch of grandpas. My one complaint is that the bathrooms are a little eh, but I guess I never expect bar bathrooms to be bastions of cleanliness, so it’s really not a big deal.

The first time I was there was my last. The place reeks of cigarette smoke and is in desperate need of a head-​to-​toe makeover. Bart L is right on. It’s a shame there aren’t better gay bars in WPB!

Yea this is one of the last real happy hour Cheers bars in PB! You can almost smell the history of this well established bar as soon as you walk in the door.

It’s a great dive bar in West Palm Beach. They have dancers on some nights, food during the day, & good drink specials. This is that perfect «neighborhood» bar when you don’t wanna make it a long night out.
