Golden Nails

Got my eyebrows and underarms waxed here… The girl Maria is not very good… She waxed out a part of my eye brow… it was the tail end so not looking too bad thankfully. Also she put some cleaning oil and was trying to twease left over hair after putting the oil… It obviously was difficult and she kept pinching my skin instead… Overall avoid

Wow, I have been going to Golden Nails for quite awhile now & I am shocked to read the negative reviews! I have tried many nail salons including one in a posh hotel on vacation & Golden Nails is my favorite! I have paid $$ & gotten less at other local salons. I see Amy & I could not be happier! I find the salon to be clean & friendly. Amy takes her time with me & I really appreciate that since I have suffered with ingrown toenails my whole life & she is the only one who knows how to cut them out & provide me with much needed relief. I went to another local nail salon who did my pedi right before a vacation& it was such a rushed job that my feet started to hurt while on vacation. You know you’ve gotten a bad pedi when you start picking activities close to the hotel so you don’t have too far to walk. Since I have been going to Golden Nails that is not an issue. I LOVE THIS PLACE!

Wow. I never got treated like crap like the prior reviews and they were actually professional. The salon was clean and I was treated like an actual customer. However, I do agree with the prices being a little high. I don’t do fills. Just plain old manicures for me and I wasn’t going to drive out of my way to save a buck while I was in the area. Will I return? Probably.

Don’t bother making an appointment, it makes no difference. Neither the mani or pedi was special, I feel like I could have done a better job. It is clean, but by no means will I return.

I’ve gone several times for mani/​pedis. They have a handful of nail techs that are good. However, they are usually booked with appointments, so if you are a walk-​in you get the leftovers or get bounced around. Just before the holidays I went and got someone who didn’t speak English, so when I tried to tell her to push back my cuticles, I needed a translator. Then for the pedi, she barely scrubbed my feet. The time before that, the lady I got coated my nails with super thick polish and after 3 hours at home my toes still weren’t dry. I’m done with that place!

Went for a fill. Was not impressed at all. The shape of my nails was sloppy and inconsistent. I think my nails would have looked more natural if I bought lee press ons at wal mart. A three year old could have done a better polish job. And $ 18 for a fill?! I have been to higher end places that charge $ 15. I will definitely not be back.

Poor customer service– rude to customers… entertaining the employee’s children, and not paying attention to the clients– if it wasn’t for snow birds they would not be in business.
