My vision insurance allows me a pair of glasses every 2 years. For Eyes is close to my home, so I gave them a try. The place is contemporary, and nice, the optometrist, Dr. Richard Bernstein is top notch, took me without an appointment and my eyes had gotten better, not worse. He gave me several sample contact lenses to try out, and then Marie helped me picked out glasses. Marie is well trained — which is good since the selection is overwhelming. I picked out the frames, and got the lenses with invisible transition to readers. She knows her stuff with the vision insurance which is awesome. That’s the good part. The follow-​up was terrible. If they are busy you get a message machine and no one calls back. When I did get someone, they forgot the order the contact lenses I preferred. My glasses? Sorry, they arrived with a chipped lense, it will take another week. I decided to stop in the next Saturday — my glasses were ready, they fitted them and I love them. My new contact lenses were there too — but no one called me to tell me that either. Bottom Line: Nice Place, Good Doctor, Vision Ins. Pro’s, but do your own follow-​up.
