First Impression Doors & More

Highly recommend First Impression for all your mouldings and doors. After a very pleasant phone call and email correspondence, we found some «not so easy to find» moulding to repair some of our baseboards for our home. My husband went in to pick up the product and was pleasantly surprised at the customer service and attention he received. He even looked around at the beautiful doors on display and is thinking about our next project! Well done First Impression, well done!

The entire process from start to finish was excellent. The minute we walked in the door we were greeted with a friendly smile and hello. The product selection is extensive, the customer service was excellent, and the price was equally as good.
My wife and I are not the «handyman» type, so we had first impression handle the installation as well. Let’s just say I can’t hear the neighbors dog barking anymore with my new windows and I have the best looking entry door in the community… Kudos to Steven the owner and the entire staff at First Impressions! I will continue to recommend you to all my friends…

They are good if you have a last minute need. Otherwise, save money and try Home Depot and their installers to save on same products.

I had a wonderful experience in this store. The owner was nothing but helpful and informational while I was choosing a door. The installer also did a great job, and every time anyone comes over they complement my front door. I will be using this company in the future when I replace other doors in my home. Thanks for a great experience!

Stay away from this horrible company… They will lie to you, and have no integrity as a company. I gave an employee named Mark all of the information he requested via email almost two months ago. (I have proof of this.) He said that they could take care of all of my new home needs including the purchase and installation of baseboards, door trim, and doors — that they could do all of this for me. He never followed up with me, or returned my calls on his own. Whenever I would call, and reach him he would tell me not to worry that «we still had time.» I asked him last week if I should come in to their shop in person, and he told me that there was no need for me to come in yet, and that he hadn’t submitted my door schedule plans yet, which would only take a day or two. After a few days had passed, and once again no follow up from Mark, I called «First Impression Doors and More» to speak with him, and found out that he was now on vacation, which he had conveniently never mentioned to me. Obviously upset now that I had been repeated lied to, and disrespected, I decided to go to First Impression Doors in person. I spoke with the owner Randy, as well as the manager Jose. I told them them in no uncertain terms that their employee had all of my information for a very long time, and was not getting back to me with the research on doors he claimed to be doing, and now I would be closing on a home in only a few weeks with no interior doors, or base boards, thanks to his employee. Instead of taking ownership of the situation, Randy told me that there must have been a miscommunication, and that after emailing his employee Mark, Mark responded that he had let me know he was going on vacation. which is clearly not true… To make a long story short, the manager Jose sent an employee out yesterday to take measurements for the interior door openings, and the employee asked for a floor plan of my home so that he would have approx. measurements for how much base board they would need to install. Today I received a phone message from this employee stating that «all of a sudden» they now do not install interior doors, and do not install baseboard in homes either, that I was only able to purchase doors from them, and that «he hoped it would not be too much trouble for me to find an installer, that they just didn’t do this type of work on new construction homes.“This was the last straw… I called this employee back this afternoon and expressed my outrage, and said that I now I only wanted to speak with the owner Randy, or the manager Jose. Randy called me back, and said to me that they could not accommodate me. He did not care that I had started this process many long weeks ago with an employee who I had naively put my trust in. He did not care that I was told many conflicting stories, and did not care that a customer who had started this process in plenty of time, was now left high and dry, thanks to one of his employees. He just plain «did not care»!!! The only thing he did care about though, was that I was interrupting him during the brief conversation, and that I had clearly voiced my discontent with all of the conflicting information I had been given by his employees. It is unfortunate that «First Impression Doors and More,» exists in West Palm Beach among many well intentioned and honorable local service oriented companies who care about their customers in the community… Please make sure to ask around, do your research and read reviews before relying on the wrong company!!!
