El Dorado Furniture

Chairs? They got em.
Tables? They got em.
Couches? They got em.
Lunch…well, they do have vending machines but if you’re looking for lunch, I’m not sure why you’re in El Dorado.
ED is a massive furniture store catering to the higher end products. Their furniture is certainly on the high-​quality side.
Went in a few times to browse around and was able to come back and quickly make a deal.
Their staff is friendly and not over bearing which is nice, compared to other stores where they greet you at the door (Which they do at El Dorado) and then never leave you alone Contrary, at ED it was sometimes hard to find someone to help.
EDF has a number of different showrooms within their store, modern, nautical etc.

Went to this location last week prepared to buy several pieces of furniture (in fact, I already knew exactly what I wanted as I looked online, so I could have been an easy sale). While browsing, not ONE person –including the front desk guy– said hello or offered assistance. Plenty of staff walked by me but I guess they didn’t deem it necessary to help one of the handful of customers in the store. Don’t they work on commission?!

The level of unprofessionalism that I just encountered was mind boggling. If I had the option of giving this place less than one star, I would. Let me explain… I went in searching for a floor mirror for my salon station. The woman that helped me was nothing but kind, she helped me pick out a $ 600 mirror and it happened to be out of stock. So, she told me she had to ask the manager if I could take the floor model. She came back and said no problem. I then told them I had to run up to the salon to make sure it wasn’t too big.
I came back about 2 hours later and purchased the mirror. I had a friend come with his truck to help me take it. The manager and one of the guys from the back grabbed the mirror off the wall and started to wrap it for me. The manager then walked away for a minute, came back and said the mirror was already sold and I couldn’t take it. I laughed because I thought he was joking. He wasn’t. He then said they forgot to put a SOLD sign on it a few days ago when someone else bought it. I replied by saying, I literally just paid for the mirror, you helped wrap it up, I had a friend come with his truck, and now you’re going to tell me I can’t take it? Completely unapologetic and rude, he told me he would ship me another one at no charge or refund me. I then told my friend (the one with the truck) that he didn’t have to stay and apologized for wasting his time. I asked when it would be shipped and he couldn’t give me an exact date. I decided to just get a refund. He then threw his hand in the air and said fine take the mirror, just like a 6 year old would when throwing a temper tantrum. I then said, why didn’t you say that 10 minutes ago when my friend with the truck was here? He walked away yet, again. The woman that helped me turned to me and was so sweet and apologetic, but I told her I would still like a refund. As we were at the counter another guy came up and tried to stop me by offering a $ 25 gift card, it honestly made me laugh. I said no thanks and continued with my refund. The whole situation was so sketchy and unprofessional, I wish I recorded it. I am gladly taking my business elsewhere and will never step foot in an El Horrible-​O again.

Worst experience ever!!! Went into the store April 6^th and found a coffee table we love. Well, after we decided on it we were told it was out of stock but were guaranteed to have it by April 30^th when the next delivery happened. Well May come and no table. We call the and they say it will be arriving to be delivered on May 15^th. Well you guessed it today is May 16^th and no table. Called customer service only to find out that they have run out and we should expect our PRE PAID for table by June 30^th!!! SO basically if you need furniture before 3 months, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY! And to top it all off they basically don’t care at all and just tell you if you don’t like it they’ll refund you after you’ve paid and picked out a table and spent the day shopping and 2 months waiting! Major disappointment of a company. Going back to shopping the Ashley furniture chain!

Love El Dorado, they have the nicest, modern furniture and a super friendly staff. We have bought many items form here. Definitely visit and view their showroom. Will always come here over Rooms To Go or City Furniture.
