BFF is one of the other food trucks that I will chase down! BFF is excatly that; Best French Fries! Debbie and her crew are amazing and always have great customer service. The fries are great and there are so many different sauces to choosd from with new sauces all the time. Whether you get the white potato, swet potato, or the yuca you won’t be dissapointed.

When there are 20+ sauces to chose from to dip my fries in that is five stars right there. I visited BFF at the Hollywood Arts park. It had been on my radar not only for the sauces, but for the yucca fries. Here you can choose from white potato, sweet potato, and yucca fries, and pick two sauces to go along with it. I chose to do the mixed fries with all three and got the creamy cilantro garlic and the sweet and spicy sauce. They took a few minutes to come out, and were served in the perfect cone with sauce holders. The fries themselves are delicious. They don’t taste fried and greasy… they taste baked, but they don’t sacrifice any crunch in their prep method. I have actually started not to like french fries so much these days because so many are too fried and taste like grease rather than potato… but BFF is getting me back on the fries bandwagon(whether that’s a good thing or a bad thing I am not sure). In terms of the sauces the cilantro garlic was great(I thought even better than the pollo tropical one I love so dearly) and the sweet and spicy was somewhat of a tangy bbq sauce with a peppery kick… I was surprised how well that one went with the sweet potato fries. I would definitely go back to this truck, and if you are at a food truck event and they are there, skip the fries at the other places and come get a cone of them here. They also offered dessert fries, I’m not exactly sure what that entailed, but there are marshmallow and caramel apple dipping sauces on the list so I’m sure they would be delicious.

chips, pommes frites, papas fritas, whatever the language the universal love for fries is strong! strong enough to support a food truck devoted to them! I remember eating some pretty tasty fries with some mega spicy sauce in amsterdam under some sort of weird influence there which seemed to be life altering fries at that time. this time around i was just one beer in at funky buddha and hunger striked. $ 6 for a mixed batch of sweet vs normal potato frites. a choice of 3 different sauces, one bein a habanero sweet sauce, thai chili and a honey mustard. their list of sauces is super long ranging for mild medium to sweet to spicy, I’m a sucker for condiments and sauces and this truck could very well be a strong weakness of mine. hard for me to justify $ 6 for fries, a handful were a bit burnt. staff was very nice and they serve them in a cone shaped container. all in all a 4⁄5 stars.

I had a good and bad experience with Best French Fries. The first time was bad… I had ordered their«baked» fries which were completely awful. They were hard, like they had been sitting in the baking oven too long. The worst part was that there were HAIRS in my fries. I’m not sure what was going on, but someone with curly hair obviously did not wear a hair net while they were prepping the«baked fries» options. I didn’t find just one or two hairs in my fries, but several which was completely disgusting. The second time was good… I decided to give them a second chance and just try their fries cooked in oil(not the baked ones). They were delicious and the dipping sauce was great! There are tons of options for dipping sauces and I really liked the curry based one. My recommendation is to skip the baked fries that they offer since who knows what you’ll find in there, but their regular fries are awesome and I wouldn’t miss out! 2 stars because of «hair incident» unfortunately, but otherwise it would have been higher!

Loved them! Was lucky to find them at them at the Wellington Food Truck Invasion. The regular fries were super. They are exactly what french fries are supposed to be. The portions are huge and they have a ton of different dipping sauces ranging from brown gravy to honey mustard. I really enjoyed the caramel and marshmallow dipping sauces with the funnel cake fries. It may be simple, but this is my favorite place for fries. A can’t miss if you just want great french fries.

How am I the first one to write about Best French Fries?! How else can I summarize my experience with Best French Fries? It’s just been… the best! I read about them in the Sun-Sentinel and made it a mission of mine to track them down. Soon enough, I found them at a food truck rally in Deerfield(«Ghooulapalooza»). It was love at first french fry. The sauces are awesome and the dessert fries were delectable. You can keep track of where the Best French Fries truck is going to be on their website… which I highly recommend that you do! Perhaps you, too will fall in love like me!
