They installed the new unit and first it’s not blowing. They came back and fix it and found out that they put the fan in wrong direction. A couple weeks later, there are lots of water leaking down the ceiling. They came to check and said it was normal and there was nothing they could do. I called two other companies for second opinion, they both told me that this unit was never installed properly. The pan that catch the water from condensation was not piped correctly thus creating water backup and overflow. I had to pay the second guy to fix it which should have been the responsibility of this company.
On a separate occasion, another unit is not blowing cold air. The supervisor came check it out and claim that it’s an old unit. It needed to be changed. I called for a second opinion and he just changed the belt. It’s now working fine.

Bottom Line: First, they don’t know what they are doing and it will cost YOU time and money. Second, they will recommend service that you don’t need in order to make them money. Make sure you always get second opinion if you want to use them.
Unethical business practice

In simple terms. Affordable Air Conditioning was very responsive and professional. I called them mid morning with my A/​C completed down and they were there within 2 hours with a knowledgeable technician. They found the problem, ordered the part and installed it in the afternoon, all in the same day. I was very impressed with the entire experience. Their management team follow up with me, which I thought rare in the service industry.

Called this place today to get a quote on adding refrigerant to my home a/​c and the girl said only techs can give prices. Ridiculous. They should have a base line understanding of what it «could» cost to send someone out. I found the girl to be rude and completely uninterested in helping a future customer. I couldn’t imagine giving this place a single dollar.
