I spent $ 30 on food. I asked the woman working behind the counter for a little hot sauce. She looked so confused and then told me she would have to charge me an additional $ 0.50. Ridiculous. Talk about making a customer feel appreciated. I spend $ 30+ and can’t even get some hot sauce. Shame on them.

This restaurant exceeded my expectations. Being fairly new to the area, I always look for good pizza. My wife and I stopped there with our friends children after a mini golf outing. We simply ordered a large pie, with a few extra slices. The crust was crispy and flavorful. The sauce was just right, and the cheese was melted perfectly to have that chew yet also be gooey and delicious. Two out of the three young children we brought almost ate the entire pie BYTHEMSELVES(3 slices each). We found the employees to be courteous and the owner came over to interact with us for a bit too! Needless to say, we will be back. Thanks for an enjoyable experience

First time was ok. I remember them being a bit greasy. The second time we decided to pick up for dinner. I was getting tired of going to another town for pizza, so I thought we could give them a try. We tried the mexican pizza. It was terrible. You could count the chicken toppings with one hand. I really wanted to like this place. Going back to our go to pizzeria in Livingston.

I tried them several times but I give up! Both times my pizza was greasy, tough, and very salty! I gave them 2 stars because the delivery is fast. Save yourself the trouble and go up the street to Master Pizza!

My brother and I ordered a sausage Stromboli and a chicken parm hero. It came in 30 minutes and the delivery guy was able to find our house. We were very pleased with the food! It tasted delicious!

Really great thin crust pizza. Had a delicious salad too. Four tables to sit at and really nice owner make this place a treasure after a trip to the zoo with the kids.

Pizza is mediocre at best. This is the first review I write because it deserves it. Every thing is way over priced and not only that but when I went to complain about a $ 26 order that was obviously more i asked for a recipt the guy at the counter got nervous gave me got a handwritten receipt and when i calculated and showed it to him he gave me an attitude saying it was tax until he double checked and gave me my money back. Sorry not coming back!

As far as the pizza goes… Outstanding thin crust pizza! I have to be honest in that i have yet to try anything else. Mainly because i know i would regret not having a slice of the best pizza in town. I have heard good things about the hot subs and dishes for take out.(Small place about 5 tables inside and 3 outside.) A must go with the kids after a visit to the zoo across the street.

Have not sampled more than their pizza, but that is excellent. Good, thin crust, and while the octagon pie sounded gimmicky it actually makes it really easy to have eight slices of the same size. They do have some weird-sounding pizzas that I have not tried, but the Margherita and Pesto pizzas are terrific, as are the custom pies we have ordered. We love Arturo’s in Maplewood but waits are sometimes ridiculous-this is almost as good and always 15 – 20 minutes to pick up.

Don’t pay too much for bad food across the street at the arena or Turtle Back Zoo, this place is great. Good pizza, generous sized sandwiches, pasta and entrees. We went after a youth hockey game today and agreed we’d gladly go back again.

Great! Stopped here the other night for takeout. Pizza was delicious as well as the eggplant parm sandwich. Staff was very friendly. Very convenient place to stop when taking the bus into South Mountain Arena.

The pizza is good. The garlic knots are really good. The service is excellent, very personable. Plus they give a discount to zoo employees. Excellent for the money.

Directly across from the Turtle Back Zoo, this pizza place was an awful experience for us. We walked over after the zoo holiday lights & found it to be a small, yet decent looking shop with seating for 20 people maximum. We had 9 people with us & ordered three pies. The«cashier» told us we can’t buy the 2 liter soda in the fridge, takeout only. And, they have no fountain drinks. We were told we had to buy cans of soda at $ 1.50 a pop. With most ppl drinking 2 cans, that’s $ 30 in soda! So, I asked for water. Response was«we have no water for customers». ?? Yet, clear as day they have glasses and they MUST have tap water, but they told me adamantly NO. We had to buy small bottled water. ?? I said fine, «cancel my order» and they did. They didn’t give a sh*t, they rolled their eyes and seemed happy to not be bothered. We left & went to Master Pizza nearby — so good! All in all, I would stay away from this pizza place, esp. if you are visiting. If they can’t get lots of money from you, they figuratively spit at you. I walked out on principal. And, the pizza didn’t look good anyway.

Since August 20th, I’ve been eating fried chicken from NYFC for dinner. And honestly, I’m getting tired of it. What am I going for this time? Chinese? McDonalds? …Dunkin’ Donuts?! Nope. We’re going Italian, capiche? Upon walking in, the counter will be on your left and the handful of tables on your right. There are also a handful of umbrella-covered tables outside; they’re perfect for those breezy late afternoons. If you’re ordering pizza, a metal stand will be brought to your table where the tray will be placed on. Fried Calamari($ 9.95): On its own, the calamari is a but short on flavor but once you dip a calamari ring in their bowl of marinara sauce, it tastes great. The marinara is perfect; it has a subtle sweetness to it and does not have an overwhelming tanginess. Garlic Knots($ 2.95): You get eight fairly large garlic knots to go with the marinara sauce. Each piece was nicely coated with garlic and Parmesan cheese. While it’s listed as a «side order,» it would be great as an appetizer as well. The only problem that I have with this is that a couple of the garlic knots were very tough to chew. You literally have to rip them part with your teeth. Fried Calamari Over Salad($ 11.95): I won’t dwell too much on this as the calamari is exactly the same as the fried calamari appetizer. You get a three color salad with various kinds of vegetables that is then topped with plenty of calamari rings. To finish it off, a rich and tangy balsamic vinaigrette is drizzled over the entire salad. Cheesesteak Pizza($ 20.95): This is tied for the most expensive specialty pizza that they offer, the other being the Parm Pizza. Their full-sized specialties are 18″ octagon shaped pizzas that have a crispy thin crust. Pie-Zon’s Cheesesteak Pizza consists of finely chopped steak, sautéed onions, mushrooms, peppers, and mozzarella. While I found the pizza to be a bit greasy, it was hard for me not to love it. There was a little bit of everything in each bite. The crust isn’t paper thin, but you do get a bit of that crispiness. It is pre-sliced, so no need to worry about having to slice it on your own. Best part about this pizza: It actually tastes like a Cheesesteak. Pie-Zon Pizza Café offers a variety of appetizers, fresh salads, wraps, specialty hot sandwiches, various hot and cold sandwiches, cheesesteaks, various types of pizza, and garlic bread/garlic knots — all of which are reasonable priced. They also serve meat balls and sausage in their regular and children’s menu. Service may take awhile but the food is cooked to order. It’s convenient for those working in the area or for those staying at the nearby Turtle Brook Inn.

Honestly can’t say that I’ve had pizza here, but for the past 3 years I’ve made getting their eggplant parm my end of the summer treat for the past few years. It’s so good! Not much room to wait inside and there are only a few tables from what I can see, but it’s pretty decent italian food if you’re in the area!

I can only comment on the pizza, but our group was happy with it. My niece had sausage and my nephew had pepperoni, and rather than big disks or chunks, the meat was in small strips. I thought that was kind of cool because you didn’t have to size your bites based on the topping. I had a slice with tomato, spinach, and garlic, and I feared it would be soggy, but it wasn’t, and it was very tasty. I loved how the cheese went all the way to the thinly pinched crust on the edge. My only complaint is that the slices were not very big(I’d say smaller than average), but our bill was a little high: $ 14 for three slices and two drinks.

Similar to other reviews on here, the food is very inconsistent. We ordered from here one time and were very pleased, the next time it was terrible. I had an eggplant parm which was very oily with too little sauce and cheese. My advice… Give the good cook a raise and fire the other

Decent pizza if you’re in a rush. Delivery is usually very fast. The outdoor seating is nice in the summer.

Food was good, the old guy probably the owner is a sweetheart of a guy, but his son who works the tables is a jerk. He yelled at my «3» year old just because he stepped on his foot while getting off his chair!
