I no longer live in Bergen county but I needed a floral arrangement sent in Fort Lee. The first place I called was the Metropolitan Plant Exchange because I knew they would provide the best from previous purchases. Their staff was very helpful and stayed in contact with me to confirm delivery. Overall A+ experience.

Love coming here during the 4th of July holidays when everything in the store is 40% off. And by love coming here, I mean, every day and every chance I get. The staff is pretty friendly and are willing to help you choose the best plant to bring home, both indoor and outdoor, as well as being very knowledgable.

I am not a fan of their cut flowers. They do not last.

We used Metropolitan Plant & Flower Exchange for the flowers for our wedding. What a good choice! Everything went so smoothly! Vanessa V. was knowledgeable and fantastic to work with. Easy-​going and attentive, she was always patient with me as we worked through the most beautiful choices within my budget for flowers. She also picked out such elegant arrangements for our big day and anticipated my every need.

A better plant, seed selection than places like Home Depot. They also have better pots as well as some pond supplies. They have a big indoor plant selection. They are more expensive than Home Depot, but the plants and products are better. I always look forward to the Independence Day sale when everything in the place is 40 percent off.

This is a great place for flowers and indoor or outdoor plants. They have a good selection and I have always found the plants and flowers to be healthy and long-​lasting. They also have a good selection of pots and accessories. This is my go-​to place for flowers and plants, and I recommend it to anyone in the area.

I’ve never had a good experience here. Whenever I go to look for seasonal plantings and flowers or new pieces for our landscape, no one bothers to help us. When we find someone to help, which is rare, and do ask questions, they act like we’re bothering them. If you have questions or need personalized service, this is not the place for you.

I order plants and baskets for local delivery and today got a call from a very nice lady who apologized that they are no longer carrying the sympathy fruit basket I ordered for my friends but they were going to have another florist deliver it, and it would be «as lovely, and on time», just not delivered by them and they didn’t want me to wonder. I think that’s fantastic attention to detail, and great customer service. Thought the store tends to be a little more pricey than other local options, this little special attention, and the constant quality of their products, and nice staff now made me a loyal fan. Hurray for local businesses — you don’t get that at Home Depot.

Ripoff, cheap looking flowers, die in days. My boyfriend always gets flowers from here, so I can’t tell him, but they just don’t look professional, and they’re drooping and losing petals on day one. They know they have a monopoly on the area, so people have been putting up with it, but seriously… Go somewhere else.

This is one of the first places I look if I want to buy a pretty indoor plant for a gift (or if I’m looking to be cheered up on a gloomy day.) The plants are usually very healthy and there is often a varied selection to choose from. It’s always fun to look through their selection of glazed pots as well.
I have never purchased cut flowers here, but the displays always look fresh.
