Clipper Pavillion Playground

This is the best playground I’ve been to and my daughter is almost 4. The giant pirate ship is wonderful. Tons of stuff to do for the little ones and it is right around the corner from the zoo.

This has quickly become one of my favorite parks in the area for kids age 1+. The rubber matting is a huge plus and the playground equipment is well made and maintained. Little tables and «chairs» for you to sit and have a snack and lots of adirondack chairs surrounding the entire park. There are two sets of jungle gyms/​slides for varied age groups and tons of other fun park activities like a see-​saw, swings, spinners and balance beams. It’s super clean and in a perfect location inside the reservation. If you need a change of scenery from the park, you can walk the path along the reservoir and head over to the Turtle Back Zoo, take a ride on the swan shaped paddle boats, run or walk the 1.7 mile walking path or stop by McLoone’s for a bite or drink.

Great park that opened yesterday. Good to bring all the kids, has a huge playground, eating area and swan paddle boats. Extremely safe for kids because of the gates, trees and grass area around this area. Your kid won’t go running into the streets in this playground. Also a walking distance from the turtleback zoo and Mcloone’s restaurant with a huge animal themed mini golf area. I strongly recommend this park to anyone in the area.
