The hotel is located in a great area that’s full of restaurants and stores… Walmart is right up the street and a walking trail is located behind the hotel. The staff was very nice and accommodating. The room was very clean. The breakfast was also great the next morning… it was a very pleasant stay. The only problem was the water drained kind of slow in the sink… but overall I slept like a baby. I would definitely stay here again.

The room was well up to standards I have experienced with. HIE. Except the bathroom. Black stuff along the edge of the tub. No stopper if someone wants to take a bath. Internet kept cutting off or kicking out. We were a one night stay. Even though check out is eleven house keeping knocked on our door at 9 and 10. We were out by 1030 never to return again!

Nice hotel, good breakfast. Small detail the water in the bathroom as a yellowish– brown color but good thing they left a note to explain the reasons(due to minerals in the water) CITYOFMONROE ya need to fix that

What a difference 2 year makes! We stayed here 2 years ago and the hotel was great — very clean and comfortable. Last night — not so much. Our first room(#408) was so damp and so filled with mold and mildew that we could feel it shutting down our lungs within 3 minutes. We left immediately. Hotel staff gave us a new room, #108. The air quality in this room was much better — no mold or mildew to make us sick. Gnats were a problem however — we have no idea where they were coming from, but they were ever present. Fixtures and furnishings were not much better: peeling paint on the ceiling, peeled and ripped wallpaper, THREADBARE towels with holes and rips, mildew on the shower curtain, rusted bath fixtures, and a dirty A/C grate show how far this HIE has fallen. We are HIE platinum members and, apart from the genuinely friendly and helpful staff, this hotel came nowhere close to meeting our expectations. DONOTSTAYHERE

This hotel is located off of I-20, so if you can’t sleep with 18 wheelers running on the interstate all night, this might not be the hotel for you. The staff is polite and professional and willing to help in anyway they can. There are many restaurants nearby and it’s not far from Wal-Mart if you forget a toiletry item. Cookies are placed on a table for the guests and a free continental breakfast from 6AM-9AM. There is one elevator and it’s rather small, so sometimes there is a wait. Wifi is free and it tends to sell out quick, so make a reservation if you can, as it seems that lots of walk ins stroll in. Overall, it’s clean, quiet and a decent hotel. It just seems like a random location with a hodge podge of clientle.
