A great and pleasant surprise out of Dayton. Enjoyed the atmosphere and the staff; Stephanie (eponymous designer of Steph sandwich) was wonderful and her son was also friendly and got the cooking down. The food was tasty and just what I needed this morning. There are lots of great choices on the menu to include some specials so I’m sure I’ll be back. It was also a nice touch when they broke out in a Happy Birthday song for an apparent regular.
Four stars only because I don’t want everyone to start running there and leaving no room for me. Enjoy…

What a great place! Just an old style diner with characters for waitresses, just like you’d expect. We were greeted warmly. The service was impeccable and we had a fabulous time. The food was down home good. I had the Bulldog Winner. The menu said biscuits and gravy, three eggs, and bacon. That was all true. The surprise was that the entire platter was covered in their good gravy! I felt like a kid digging through a box of Cracker Jacks finding a surprise here and there. It was delicious!
