They absolutely suck at bore sighting rifles. I bought a pair of scope rings here and happened to have the rifle and scope in my truck so the guy offered to bore sight the rifle for me. I normally have my step-dad bore sight my guns but since he was on vacation I figured why not. So in 10 minutes he has the scope on the gun and says it’s ready to go. I head over to the range, and throw up targets at 50 and 100 yards. I start at 50 figuring I’ll be 3 or 4 inches off. Take a shot and nothing, after 8 shots still not on paper. Finally I get frustrated and take a shot at my brothers target who’s sitting at the next bench and the bullet hits the very edge of my target. This doofus who«sighted in» my gun had it firing 5 feet left.

Went into the golf department and was«welcomed» with a «Do you guys need something?» This was in a very offending tone like he didn’t care anyways. Being new to golf, I had some questions, but he clearly had no interest in the customer. I almost put what I was purchasing back on the shelf. I’d recommend some better employees. Never going back to that store again though.

I like Dick’s. They have a large variety of items. From shoes to baseball gloves and even guns. I like walking threw the store and seeing what odd items I can find and drool over a pink rifle or two. It’s also one of the only stores that hasn’t closed down at Century 3 mall. I have no complaints about the workers. All were friendly and willing to help. Hopefully they stick around and I can continue to meander threw the store. As a side note there is a new Mexican Restaurant coming to the mall. Maybe the developers who purchased it over a year ago are finally able to start adding new businesses.

It seems like customer service has been thrown out the door lately — I’d avoid Dick’s Sporting Goods at all costs.
