Honestly Olive Garden used to be my favorite restaurant for the longest time, but as I grew older the menu never evolved and everything seemed so bland to me over time and stopped going until now. I was thoroughly impressed with this particular restaurant. It was the busiest I have ever seen it and the hostess told me about 10 – 15 minutes to be seated; I was seated in about 35 minutes; the reason for 4 stars. The waitress that I got had a table of atleast 30 people with help from 1 other waiter and she still managed to check in on us and make sure our dining experience went just as well as her big table of 30; along with the rest of her section. The menu has def evolved and I loved every bite I had. I wouldn’t go back because of the food, I would go back because of the service. It was super busy– every table was filled and our small little two table person got treated like we were the 30 person table and that is hard to find these days in chain restaurants.

We came in after 9 pm. We had a choice of all you can eat pasta w a choice of sauce and add an additional meat. I chose gluten free pasta w meat sauce w grilled chicken. It was excellent. Olive Garden has changed their cooking techniques for the better. They also changed their Gf pasta for the better. I was pleasantly surprised for the better.

Our server started out not so good, but did improve. Could not make up for the tasteless food. Bread sticks were very salty and soup was very thin. Meet sauce need lots of help.

Family Dinner Done Right! Will keep it short and sweet… We started with breadsticks and Alfredo dipping sauce. PERFECTION! We split the smoked mozzarella funduta and Bruschetta Caprese. Completely different in taste, but both tasted amazing. Salad followed! Who doesn’t like the OG Salad??? All four of us ordered a different version of the Tour of Italy. So much food we all took home leftovers!!! The sweet tea was also perfection! The best part of dinner was the server. Debbie C was probably the best server I have ever had. She was personable, always checking on us, and brought us all out to go cups at the end. Debbie was so good in-fact, we took the time to tell the management staff what an asset they had in her. The cool part was because we signed up for their eclub — I got an email that gave us 20% off 4 entrees for International Friendship Day! We saved over $ 18 because of that eclub email! All that food, minus the 20% discount, was a bargain at $ 77 bucks! I will go back for sure — and I will ask to sit in Debbie C. From Rhode Island’s section!

To say we were disappointed by our service is a gross understatement. We were in last night 4−12−15 for dinner. We were seated around 6:45 and did not leave until after 8:00. Our waitress, Vicky, was an absolute embarrassment to the service industry. We were her second of three tables seated; the first of which was already having appetizers and had ordered their entrees. It was more than 15 minutes for her to take our drink order and she didnt even offer to put in an appetizer order at that time. she took her time getting our beverages and then my boyfriend volunteered we would have the bruschetta appetizer. She took our food orders; chicken parm for him, I had the buy one take one. another 15 minutes later, she finally arrived with our salad and breadsticks. Immediately after, she brought our appetizer which looked as if it had been sitting for a while. We finished our salad, bread, and appetizer-she asked if my boyfriend would like a refill for his beverage and if we would like more salad and bread. In the meantime her third table was seated and she took their drink order. She brought their salad and beverages and came back to our table to ask a second time about the refill and salad and brought the take home portion of my meal to sit on the table coming to room temperature while we waited for our eat-in entrees. Our food came out before she brought either the beverage or salad refills. The food was meh. The chicken parm was dried out and instead of having melty cheese on top, it was crusty. The pasta accompaniment was dried and crunchy. The Citrus Chicken Sorrento sauce had begun to congeal and the pasta that I replaced the veggies with had also begun to dry out and the edges were shriveled up and crispy. She checked on us 1 time after our food arrived, about 15 minutes later. We did not see her again until probably another 10 minutes after that when she asked if we would like boxes. We said yes, and not to break routine, she took another 7 – 10 minutes to bring the boxes. While she put the food away, I browsed the dessert menu. She left without asking if we would like anything and returned with a small bag for our boxes. I ordered my dessert(still without being asked) and she, again, took her sweet time. I asked for the dessert to go after having to wait so long for it. She delivered the check and went back to get the box. She also made 3 trips back and forth before remembering to bring a bag for our solitary remaining breadstick stating that«they ran out in the back so I’m just waiting for more.» We foolishly assumed she would be bringing more bread in said bag… nope! I examined the check which was exactly as we ordered-appetizer, 2 drinks, 2 entrees, and dessert-52.87. We were discussing gratuity when she returned to box the dessert and she asked if the check was ready. I declined her. She stuffed the last togo container into a too small bag and had the epiphone that perhaps we needed a larger bag, which she offered to bring. We said no, it would be fine, dreading the idea of waiting even longer to escape her inadequacies. We left a shameful tip for shameful service and I had a hard time justifying leaving the extra money. The manager on duty was table touching one section over, but never ventured into our little hole in the wall section. We were so upset all we could do was leave and calm down to avoid making a scene. Please get rid of her!!! We may never come back! For the money, I will be trekking up to Amici’s in Viera for phenomenal food and service.

I have to say that giving an Olive Garden 1 star is something difficult to do. It’s a corporate restaurant that gives tons of food for cheap. However, this particular OG earned it fair and square. We were greeted and directed to or table to be, but we didn’t want a table by the window and preferred a booth so we requested to be seated elsewhere. The hostess informed us the bar with booths was open, so we decided to sit there. BIGMISTAKE! apparently our server forgot to mention she was ready to be cut off the schedule and we ruined that for her… or at least it’s what she was trying to say based on the service and attitude she was giving us. We were interested in a promo that was sent via email, but it turns out corporate forgot to mention it and could only be used for take out; our server made that perfectly clear! We ended up going for the $ 12.99 three course special; one for each of us. LOTSOFFOOD! Unfortunately NOTSOGOODFOOD. The only thing decent were the risotto bites. Things to point out is the smelly hummus that tasted like a paste and the entrees which lacked sauce; no flavor on anything and just wasn’t what it should have been. I don’t say anything unless asked, so we simply packed our meal and got out! Let’s make some changes in service and quality, then let’s talk!

I’ll start this review by saying I’m not one of those people who despise Olive Garden. I know it’s a chain but I usually enjoy it. That being said, this location has been going downhill for a long time. I’ve lived in this area for over ten years and have taken advantage of it’s proximity to my home. However, within the last six months or so it has become pretty awful. The food was always good, with the breadsticks and salad being as good as you could expect at an Olive Garden location. Within the last six months the breadsticks have become invariably stale and the salad lackluster. Not to mention my girlfriend got food poisoning from one of the calzones they had been pushing for their revamped lunch menu a few months ago. Last time I was there, I found three different kinds of pasta in my food. Not that I’m someone who would be outraged by that, but it feels akin to finding an onion ring in a box of fries at some fast food restaurant — and they don’t charge fast food prices here. The waitress said«That happens» then walked away which I found a bit troubling. Regardless of my being perplexed by that incident, the food has gotten substantially worse and I have seen food poisoning from this location first hand. I would not recommend it, even if you’re like me and enjoy the occasional trip to this restaurant chain.

A wide variety of food and it’s all good. I never come here without getting the Tiramisu(usually to go). I also love the salad, breadsticks, and pomodoro sauce.

Yeah, I get it, it’s Olive Garden. Food is gonna be the regular chain food. But taking the regular chain food and messing that up is pretty bad. Server wasn’t aware of the advertised specials… Neither was another server(was told the commercial was«dumb»)… Neither was the manager(who made us wait half an hour to speak with him, even though we were told by server 1 he was just in his office). Won’t be eating here again.

Olive Garden is Olive Garden is Olive Garden. You know what you are getting, though each place is a tad bit different, due to layout and staffing. This particular location is easy to get to, parking is ample, and I’ve never had to wait more than 15mins for a table. No real surprises or let downs at this location. I usually hit the place for lunch on the weekends when I am in that part of town. You can’t go wrong with their Soup and Salad all-you-can-eat deal. I think all of their house wines are horrible.

The cooks here don’t seem to know how to avoid over-cooking pasta. So…if you like limp, watery noodles, you will like the food here. Also, the place is usually overrun with tourists, so you have to wait 40 minutes for the over-cooked pasta. You can make something better at home.

It’s Olive Garden – you know what you’re getting. Service was attentive and friendly, food was as expected. Glad they have the garden fare menu with gluten-free options. Keep ‘em coming.

Just have to say it’s the most ridiculous thing that they staunchly refuse to place you on the waiting list when you call 10 mins ahead. If someone doesn’t show, SOWHAT! Just mark ‘em off the list.

I ate here on my way through town and the food was mediocre at best… like out of a TV dinner. I had the shrimp and chicken carbonara. The whole dish was greasy and oily and I did not taste any«bacon». I could have prepared this better myself. The dish was lukewarm and some of the shrimp’s tails were actually cold. The service was also very mediocre but I did eat at the bar. It has been about a year since I ate at OG and I probably will not be back for another year. But I am sure that with. the size of OG they will not miss me.

Eh, Olive Garden. I know that Melbourne thinks you’re a premier spot for fine Italian dining… but…no. There are FAR better places to eat well, and not pay for the spiffy out-of-date surroundings, waiters dressed like they’re in a fine dining establishment, and chain food. I didn’t get food poisoning or anything, but c’mon. You can do waaaay better. The service was good, but they had DEADEYES. You know the look. «Please get me out of here before I have to serve another senior citizen an early bird special» look. Ugh.

Oh Olive Garden… not much going on here except for some very second class Italian food. I’ve eaten here before but there’s just something about experiencing a chain restaurant in a completely unfamiliar city that just inspires me to bore the Unilocal community with a review of a restaurant we most all know is second rate. It fills the tummy and the free breadsticks and salad are a plus. I love their breadsticks, even though they are completely doused in way too much salt. I think the salad sucks though. It is so blah and there is nothing special about their«home made» dressing. The seafood fettuccine alfredo tasted too fishy. I did like my raspberry/white chocolate cheesecake, however and of course, the wine!
