Beware. We hired Oregon Trail to redo some wood floors. They first showed up days after promised and then told us that the guy assigned to do the job had a different job to do, so could not do the work for us. They did offer to see if their «worst guy» was available although they could not vouch for his work. Needless to say, we declined. Ultimately, we decided to hire someone else, but because the wood was already at the house, we paid them for it. We were given a specific price for the wood that we were told was exactly what they paid for it. We wrote them a check, but demanded a copy of their invoice. Turns out they were off by several hundred dollars, but rather than get a full refund they charged us for their time to come tell us they could not do the work. Worst of all, they did not seem to care at all – and why not they made several hundred dollars for doing nothing. Unreliable, dishonest, and proud of it! Be warned.
