I went to see Dr. Pam for acupuncture and was told over the phone that the cost for each session would be $ 55. After I paid $ 165 for the initial exam, I went back for my treatment a few days later and was charged $ 95. When I inquired as to why the treatment was almost double what I was initially quoted, she said that I was treated for two areas. I have been to other acupuncturists over the years and was never told that I required two areas of treatment and don’t even know what that means.
Knowing that I needed at least 8 to 10 more treatments and would have to pay more than I was initially told, I did not go back. Businesses should stand by their price quotes. I was not impressed.
