Scott Byer, A-Steam’s owner, cleaned our carpet and four pieces of upholstered furniture today. I give him the highest rating. He arrived on time, gave a detailed estimate, worked non-​stop for more than five hours, did an incredibly thorough job, and left the house the way it was when he arrived. I like to award local establishments my business, but I would use A-​Steam even if it was not local. This is a well-​run operation, and I recommend it without reservation.

A-​Steam Carpets does GREAT work. Scott is very personable, clean cut, honest, dependable and thorough. We have 2 labs and 1 cat… so lots of stains. Scott works hard to get the stains out and always says he will come back for another round if they reappear. He takes his time and makes sure no damage is done to woodwork, walls, etc.

Had (and still have!) an issue with one of the areas cleaned — the aggressive attempt to clean two bloom spots on a section of beige short-​pile carpeting actually delaminated the padding and the blue color of the pad wicked up into the fiber. Instead of the original spots (which have returned), I now have something that looks like the leftovers of a crime scene. He took too long to respond and acted like it was an inconvenience to him — and his solution to this was «maybe you can find a nice oriental rug to go over it». I’ll probably spend more fixing the problem than I paid for the entire cleaning job.
