Yori is a new Korean restaurant. Close to the dorms, and authentic Koran food. The appetizers are now self serve and unlimited. The service is good, order first, then sit. It’s laid back and convenient. There is a good variety with hot pot and orders for multiple people.

Best Korean food you’ll find so close to campus! I actually think it ranks up there with best Korean restaurants I’ve been to. Kimchi is moderate, but the dishes are at least traditional(mostly) and flavorful!

I’m been eating at here regularly and this time it is really bad. I don’t know if they made some mistake of what, I order seafood soon tofu to go, when I eating it at home I noticed there are only tofu, none seafood at all.

The kimchi. How can you screw that up? The owner is Korean and they’re still serving terrible kimchi. A Korean staple! The only reason why this place hasn’t gone out of business is because people here don’t have any other choice and the rest don’t know what kimchi really tastes like. Went a second time and ordered fried rice. It tasted burnt the whole time. Disgusting.

Nice at the beginning but getting worse and worse everytime I visited. Th sides are less and less, now like trash. Takeout a bugogi only have rice, beef and 4 pieces of cucumbers.

This place is far better tasting and cheaper than Gaza. I had their Gamjatang, and it was my favorite Korean dish I have ever had. Disclaimer: I am not Korean so I may not be the best judge. But I loved it!

I saw this restaurant and knew I had to try it. The restaurant itself was probably the nicest in all of Purdue West, and the prices were reasonable. The food was great(I had the beef fried rice), and the portions where good. My only complaint was that most of the sodas where«out of order».

Excellent! We ordered from HungryBoiler and had it delivered to our home. We had bulgogi, pork bulgogi, and bibimbap. It was delicious. My 12 year old son loves bulgogi, we used to get it from korean grocery in Vegas to cook at home. He loved it as much as I did. Will definitely order again. Im excited to try more dishes.

Good quality food. Most of the menu here is $ 10 or less, and the portions are pretty big(except for the fried rice, which is smaller). I’m not a fan of the extras like the tofu soup that comes with the galbi. This place is very popular among students, so expect it to be crowded.

I’m visiting Purdue for a month and was craving gamjatang. I figured there was no way this would be available in a little college town in the Midwest but I was presently surprised to have stumbled across Yori. Not only do they have gamjatang, but they also have a lot of authentic Korean dishes that aren’t available in your usual Korean BBQ/tofu restaurant, like Galbitang and dakbokkeumtang. My friend and I had the dakbokkeumtang and the dolsot bibimbap. Both were flavorful and well made but the spicy chicken soup was a perfect mix of spicy and mildly sweet with tender, tender chicken. We demolished our food and my friend could not stop eating the chicken soup. The sides were quite nice also. The portions were large enough that my friend and I were both stuffed and I still had enough leftovers for 2 meals to take home! Not a bad deal for about $ 10 a dish. I will be back to try their other options and am so happy I don’t have to wait a whole month to be able to get some great Korean food!

Worth it! Cheaper than GAZA! The hotpot is super spicy and unlimited rice is a plus.

Get dduk man doo gook(rice cake and dumpling soup) and dak bok eum tang(chicken soup). The first soup I mentioned is sweet and the latter is spicy. They’re each 9.99. Updating my review since I finally found something delicious on their menu. This is my 5th time at the restaurant.

Real authentic Korean food in Purdue area. I like this restaurant very much as a Korean. Specially spicy pork bone soup is great. Denjang soup is also very good.

This is a new Korean restaurant that opened up in Purdue West right next to Purdue University’s dormitories. I ordered the Pork Bolgolgi. The meal came with side dishes and a small bowl of rice. My side dishes consisted of broccoli with tofu, light macaroni salad with corn kernels, and kimchi. Some other customers received cucumbers. The Pork Bulgogi was great. A hefty portion came on a cast iron skillet resting on a bed of cabbage and onions. It was then topped off with a sprinkle of sesame seeds and green onions. The pork was tender and slightly spicy. For the price of $ 9.99 this meal was great. The service here is mainly self serve. You first walk up to the cashier counter to order from the menu displayed on hanging televisions. After you get the number of your order, you pick up your own utensils, grab your own refreshments, and pick your table. When your food is ready the waiter will bring it to you. Overall I would rate Yori as 4.5 stars. This is a neat restaurant that offers new flavors to the usual stagnant local restaurant community. Bonus points! A waiter brought over another set of side dishes that included the cucumbers(:

The first time I went to this place I had a lunch box with a soup and spicy pork. The soup was fine but the pork was over-seasoned and dry. Overall the meal was not good. I was wondering if I ordered wrong stuffs giving the high rating by other reviewer so that I went there for a second time. The chicken soup with potato my friend ordered tastes okay but it was lukewarm. I ordered a hotpot with mushroom and beef. It was nothing special. Considering this place was just opened, I hope it will improve over time.

I ordered the spicy squid and my wife had their bimbi bop. They were all very nice. My wife even claimed that their food is better than GAZA. You should give a try and be the judge on that. Will definitely come back.
