If we could give negative stars we would have. We pre ordered for a specific time and the driver was MORE than a half hour late with the flimsy excuse of a flat tire. Upon delivery the pizzas were squished up against the side of the box. No compensation offered. We will not order from this place again.

Just ate half of a steak and mushroom calzone and it was hardly edible(threw the other half in the garbage). Dripping in butter or grease. Von’s Dough Shack is far better for a calzone. Absolutely will not be trying anything else at this place.

So much better than the other pizza joints. The crust is delicious, well baked, has the right thickness, appropriate texture, and does not give you acid reflux like papa johns or dominos. I like that they have many options for flavoring the crust. The price is also competitive with the other pizza places. Delivery is a bit slow though. So instead I just do a pick up, since the food is prepared really fast.

I ADORE this place. At first, the place made me feel a little skeptical because of the price. I wasn’t too sure about the quality, but I’ve been looking for a decent deep dish pizza place forever in the Lafayette area. Even though, the grease coats the pizza, it’s both crispy and doughy in the best possible way. Orders are usually fulfilled pretty quickly too(I order at least 2x a month). Sometimes the pizza is a little burnt though.

Great pizza and great crust! I was a fan of this place back in my hometown so I was happy to see them coming to Lafayette.

I was really excited to try Hungry Howie’s. When the pizza was delivered it looked amazing and delicious! However, it was lacking in flavor… as in, it had none. Very disappointed.

Poor service. Closed due to power outage but power was on and all the businesses next to them were open.

Ordered delivery for the first time Monday night. Overall, a good first impression. Pizza was cooked just about right and had good flavor, except that I thought the sauce was lacking a little something. Considering the distance they traveled and the time of day, they were still on-time with the delivery.

This is a Michigan pizza joint. Being a Michigan transplant I was ecstatic when I heard they were coming to town. Howies is known for the flavored crust, namely the cajun and butter cheese. If you’re not getting the flavored crusts, you’re doing it wrong. I finally ordered for the first time tonight and it came promptly and in classic Howies fashion. I really hope they decide to deliver to my neighborhood henceforth. It would be a real source of anguish if they didn’t. Also I didn’t order the three-cheeser bread tonight, but do it. You will not regret it.

Tried it for the first time today. Picked up food since its not really a place to eat in. Had a Calzone lunch special(included drink for $ 5). Lot of options on the menu and other $ 5 lunch specials. Good buy! I liked the food. Will go again.

Very nice and friendly service, and decent deals. I liked their pizza boxes. Pretty! I ordered a large regular pepperoni pizza with Howie bread. Pizza was a little bland, having not much flavor. My boyfriend and I are very picky about pizza, it was just not our thing. Maybe we will try with a thin crust later.
