Hot Dog On A Stick

I was pleasantly surprised when I found this place. How nice to have one outside the mall. Do your shopping at CAL Ranch and then grab a couple of corn dogs, cheese on a stick and the largest cherry lemonade they offer for the trip home. Fresh, hot corn dogs washed down with ice cold cherry lemonade… does life get any better than that? (at least for that blissful moment.)

It seems like the only place to grab the famous Hot Dog On A Stick is at the mall so when I drove by this location I had to stop.
Crunchy, tasty, fresh and hot just like they should be. This location is really small and only serves it up at the drive through.
The price, like anyplace has gone up over time. Am I old because it doesn’t seem that long ago you could grab these for a buck a piece. I still love it and will stop by again.

It’s great having a hot dog on a stick where you don’t have to go to the mall, the food is always great and lemonade is fresh.

The corn dogs were not as good as I remember to be. Sorry, but I think wiener schnitzel’s corn dogs are better. The lemonade was great as always.

We stopped by to pick up some hot dogs for a quick snack/​dinner I feel guilty admitting that I could consider that dinner. We ordered standard hot dogs on sticks and a cherry lemonade to share. One of the things that I think is different than visiting in the food court at a mall is that you have to use ketchup and mustard packets. I was trying to eat the food while it was hot but had the little tray in my lap and was freaking out that I was going to spill the condiments all over my lap. The food was consistent with taste that I get in the mall food court. The cherry lemonade was just incredible, we slurped it down so fast I wanted to go back for more but that isn’t reasonable when you have already driven several blocks.
In case you haven’t physically seen this place before you find it. It is a drive thru only location as far as I can tell. I know this is just a dream but could you imagine if they put an Orange Julius and a Pretzel Time right next to this? I personally could get all my guilty pleasure mall foods without having to visit the mall.
Thanks Hot Dog on a Stick! Cherry Lemonade is incredible and next time i’m craving some delicious drink, I hope i’m close enough that I can swing by and enjoy another cup.

Mmmm… Hot Dog On A Stick… how I love thee. And thanks to this location, I’ve found jalapeño cheese sticks and corn dogs. Mmm…
This is a stand alone location kind of in the middle of nowhere which makes it all the more special. At first, I wasn’t sure if they were open since it was about 20 degrees outside and the lights weren’t on. But sure enough, there was a cheery, friendly girl in that ridiculous hat jamming to her iPod playlist. She had my corn dog, cheese stick and lemonade ready in minutes and we were back in the car and on our way in minutes.
I love hot dogs and I love cheese. There’s something beautiful about deep frying both and this place did not disappoint.
