I eat here almost everytime I venture up to West Jefferson. One of my favorite Japanese places. Food is always delicious and service is always fast and friendly. I would highly recommend this place.

I have seen this place many times, but never went in. We always went to Boone to get Japanese when visiting West Jefferson. Not anymore! This place is delicious and rivals any Japanese restaurant in Boone and I am very picky. We had Teriyaki Chicken and the vegetable plate and it was perfect. Restaurant is very clean and waitstaff was friendly. Will definitely be back!

Shokudo is a good quality Japanese steakhouse in Ashe County. They have been around for several years and we have found them very consistent. You get a good serving size for lunch. Their hibachi chicken with mushrooms is good, and their ginger salad dressing is also good.

Great place to eat in or order out. The food is always top notch and the overall appeal of the resturant is great.
