ProHEALTH Urgent Care – West Islip

Went here on a Sunday cause I hadn’t been feeling well. They took me immediately (after filling out some paperwork). The doctor was super friendly and made me feel comfortable. She filled a prescription to my pharmacy and very thorough.

Unfortunately I’ve had to come here twice in less than 30 days. Each time I was greeted nicely by the receptionist who throughly explained how they work. The first time was for my son who was having stomach abdominal pains & vomiting. The doc to instructed us to go the emergency room immediately or he could call an ambulance for him. We chose to drive ourselves. Thinking he had a virus or worse case scenario an appendicitis attack.
It was neither. Way worse than anyone could’ve guessed. His organs shut down on him out of the blue. He was admitted to the ICU for 4 days & spent another 6 days on another floor. Sooooo if it wasn’t for the doctors insistence that we go to the ER I might’ve lost my baby. He’s 26, but will always be my baby.
Any who, the doctor was great, nurse Lisa was sweet & pleasant. The office is beautiful & clean. The 2^nd visit I thought I broke my finger. They took me in immediately (found out if I go to Urgent Care I have no co-​pay! Bonus!) they took 3 X-​Rays on the spot & found out it was only a sprain. Dr. Stillman was awesome. Great bedside manner. Professional & personable. I also got a tour of the offices. Beautiful murals in each room. I will definitely make this my go to emergency spot.

Went to ProHealth today for a sprained ankle. The facility is new, clean, and beautiful. The staff were curtious and efficient.
I was taken right away as I went in about 30 minutes prior to closing. There were able to take xrays on site. Dr. Goldman was extremely friendly and professional.
Thanks to the excellent care at ProHealth I am on my way to a speedy recovery. Would certainly return if needed and would highly recommend this facility.
