The UPS Store

I come here three to four times a week so they can box and ship the eBay items that I sell online. I found out that some bigger packages are much cheaper to ship from here then going to US post office. They really do a great job in packaging the items. They package and ship my items all over US and the entire world.
One of the things I have learned about living in Los Angeles is that there are many great things about it!!! THE UPS STORE, is most definitely one of them for me and my business. This might sound crazy, and it sort of is, but this place has legit, the nicest and most helpful employees within a 20 block radius of their store.
Pros: This place is a one stop shop for everting relating to shipping, mailing, faxing, copying, sending, receiving… both mail and tons of great help from the employees! Also its very clean and open.
Cons: Do not know of any.
More Pros: They were nice, they never rush me, they always give me good advice on shipping options and prices. They sent me an email with my tracking information, which also has capabilities to update. This might not seem like a big deal, but this place is so friendly and helpful. Wow, I surprise myself with how much I like this place. Cant help it, place is great.
I don’t live close to The UPS Store here, but I will make the trek here every time I need to send something or need supplies, or need to copy or fax something.

This was absolutely the worst customer service and shipping experience of my life. I’m trying to move 3,000 miles across the country and had this location send 6 boxes, in two shipments of 3. The first set of 3 boxes arrived and one of them was ripped entirely along one side. I have no idea if anything is missing from that box now, as I won’t arrive to my new home for another three weeks. The other set of 3 boxes was supposed to be delivered yesterday. Online, it says they were delivered on Tuesday. THEY WERE NOT DELIVERED. Not at all. I called this store, where I shipped them from, and a young woman LIED about taking down my information. She promised her manager would call me back as soon as he got in. The manager DID NOT call me. I went into the store the following day, today, and the same young woman I spoke to the day before was there. She LIED to me again, this time about being a manager, and would only get the actual manager on the phone after I repeated my story about 6 times. Everyone keeps telling me the same thing, that the boxes were delivered, when in fact they were not. Someone was waiting to accept these boxes all week long and they have not arrived. No one wants to accept responsibility or even help look for this shipment. They closed the claim I opened, for the $ 1,000 worth of my belongings that are missing, with no explanation other than «They’ve been delivered». How can these boxes just be gone, with no rhyme or reason? This is beyond unacceptable and nowhere near professional. I will never ship with UPS again.
UPDATE: My boxes were found by my mom, several days after this initial review. They were delivered to the wrong house. All 3 of the missing boxes were completely ripped open on one side, with my belongings hanging out of them. The manager I spoke to was incredibly rude and disrespectful, interrupting me every few moments to insult me or argue, instead of actually listening to what I was saying about the situation. I will be checking these boxes thoroughly for damages, when I get to my moving destination at week’s end, and will be dealing with corporate and/​or an attorney, from here on out. Disappointed doesn’t even begin to cover it. I am appalled.

Quick and efficient. Good customer service, everything looks very clean and organized, got what I needed for $ 0.22, and was in and out quickly! Was told this locations has only been open for about two months.

Very disappointing service. I go in and ask for a package to be sent «express saver» meaning it can be a timeline greater than 2 day delivery, that is typically 4 – 5 days. I’m told this is okay yet am charged for 2 day delivery and my package takes TWO WEEKS to be delivered. If that wasn’t bad enough I’m overcharged for packing supplies on the same trip. Be ready to get fleeced at this UPS store.
