Troubadour is one of the best concert venues I’ve been to. Great layout, well-kept, and perfect for small & intimate shows. You get a good view of the stage in just about any seat at the venue. Can’t wait to be back!

Came here for William Singe(heart eyes) the venue itself is very small and it gets hot and stuffy. 5stars for William Singe!!! We parked across the street between the troubadour and Petco. It was $ 15 but at least we didn’t get a ticket by parking on the street(you need a permit) so be careful!

Great venue! Love the little intimate concerts the most. But parking is a bitch. $ 15 for the designated Troub parking, and the rest of the specs nearby are 2hour only parking spots… til midnight. Fortunately, I was able to find a yellow loading zone! Aka free parking nearby! This place is more laid back than most, but it’s still got the great vibe you look for.

I like the Troubadour. I saw Zane Carney there and it rocked. The only thing I hated is that when a band is playing if you are seated in the top, you can hear all the chatting from the rude peeps that have no respect for music and are hanging out at the bar. UGH. Go drink at a 711 or a bar ! or better… stay home. I’m sure all you gotta say can wait till after the concert.

This venue is my favorite venue to see any live rock band. general admission so if you get there early, you can get standing room right in front of the stage. usually at a venue they have a railing and some security behind it and then the stage but at this place you are literally touching the stage, one time I went and saw a band I really liked and the singer was right above me which was awesome. they also offer seating if you have a hard time standing up for 3 hours straight. I love coming to this place so much

One of my favorite venues in town to hear live music. The Troubadour is one of the best sounding rooms to hear music(or it might just be the sound guy). The venue is ideal for breaking bands or bands on the fringe. Most of the shows ive been to have been sold out and the audiences are great. People actually go to hear the music, not just to be seen. I don’t believe i have ever seen a bad show at the Troubadour. Sure their beers are $ 7 but I don’t come here to socialize or drink

Love this venue. Good artists, plenty of room to rub bodies with strangers. If you’re an old fartface like me, get in line early and nab a seat upstairs in the wooden bleachers. My ass is too flat and it hurts, but it’s way better than having younger, cooler hipsters breathing all over my body.

Nice, small, intimate venue with great vibes. Conveniently located in Hollywood. Came here to listen to Yuna and left so hyped! Love the seating upstairs, but it was full by the time we got there. Come early if you want to sit.

The place is welcoming for everybody. I went to go see Emily Kinney live just because I’m obsessed with The Walking Dead and I was terribly sad when she was killed off the show… Overall great ambient sound and selection of alcohol. I still can’t believe I was standing 10 feet from her. Did that really happen?

What a lovely little venue. Saw the National here for a benefit concert. Not too packed, easy to get a drink and reasonably priced. Now one of those places I check listings for. Its a great place to see an artist play.

Such an amazing venue! I recently came for a Charlie Puth event and it was incredible. This is one of the smallest venues I’ve attended but size doesn’t always matter right?! The venue is pretty small, there’s a downstairs where people mostly stand up and you are literally in front of the performer or you can go upstairs where there are a few benches — ideally for lazy people like me that don’t want to stand up or people that would like to enjoy a drink or food(yes, they serve food and they had a waitress too!). Downstairs is definitely for the jumpers and dancers and upstairs is not as crowded and more calm which I enjoyed. Since the venue is small, no matter where you are(seated or standing) you will have a great view of the band or performer. Sound and lighting are good. People mention parking as a hassle but I was really lucky to find free street parking. I will definitely try to be back. The experience is very unique and somewhat intimate since its such a small and up-close venue.

The Troubadour is a fun venue for concerts in West Hollywood. The crowd isn’t super immature and annoying, so it’s a good place to dance and enjoy your favorite artists. It’s nice to have both a chance to stand up close to the artists with a drink, or to sit back upstairs if you’re over 21. Easy parking in the lot across the street. Get here early because the line loops around the block, easily an hour before the event starts. We didn’t mind getting there early since there’s nothing as good as the chance to stand up front with a good friend and a whiskey sour waiting for your favorite artist! Only con: there aren’t too many restrooms, and there’s always a long wait, particularly for the ones at the front. Your best bet is to go to the ones near the back across from the stage.

Cute and classic venue with that historic feel to it– perfect for watching an intimate show of your favorite artists! Of course parking is a beezy since its in WeHo but if there’s a will there’s a way! haha I came here on Monday to see Oh Wonder and XYLO(so gewd) I got there pretty on time so I was able to snag seats in the upper level where they had wooden booths, which had a little shelf level/table that stuck out, so you can put your drinks in there. I also thought it was pretty convenient that they have food there! You can order burgers and fries and other snacks and servers will bring it to you(they were offering us menus to look at). They have two bars: one right when you enter(where there are two individual bathrooms) and one inside in the back of the general floor. The sound wasn’t over powering either or made me deaf haha so it was an enjoyable experience!

If you love seeing bands in small, intimate venues(as I do) The Troubadour is one of the best places in LA to do so. Came here for the first time in MANY years a few weeks ago to catch 80s/90s hard rockers Fu Manchu and it made me wonder why I don’t come here more often. I think that’s about to change, as I’ve been getting out to see more shows of late and a lot of bands I’m interested in do come through here. It IS tiny and it IS a pain in the ass to park around there but you can’t beat getting super up close and personal with the band. The vibe is chill, the bartenders are nice and the drink prices seemed reasonable(if you can make it back there when the crowd is at its peak). STEPHJUDGEMENT: A legendary venue that’s still down-to-earth, approachable and tiny.

Great place to go! very intimate setting which is the best! they need more rock/metal though! this place used to place more of it in the past but for some reason those shows have becomes few and far between unfortunately. Still love this place though!

Legendary bands I love such as The Cure has played here. I really love this venue. It’s small which makes for more intimate raw shows. Sound is great. There really isn’t an obstructed view inside the venue. There’s a bar, the small pit, and a small balcony. It’s simple. I saw Faith No More on 9.03.15 at this venue for their secret show!!! So rad because the night before and on the morning of I was talking about Faith No More to a friend. Coincidentally a few hours later I find out they are playing that same day at the Troubadour. It was amazing! Mike Patton crowd surfed his way to the freakin’ bar ha-ha. One of the best show’s I’ve attended and very lucky to be a part of. Pros: –Small Venue and reasonably priced tickets –Intimate experiences –Chance of buying tickets for a sold out show(i’ts what happened with FNM… varies per case) Cons: –It is in Hollywood so parking will be a challenge. You can park across the Pacific Design Center and the library which are a few blocks away. Metered spots are available as well.

If I were one of the cool kids that had the clout to stage one of the most awesome weddings at this iconic club, featuring a truly Rock and Roll ceremony, it might have happened in the 1990s for me. But it didn’t. Thankfully, my cousin was afforded this beautiful venue to pledge his love to his new bride(and love of 12 years) that bartends here. There is so much musical history here, and we all embraced it. Cupcake wedding cake, open bar, In-N-Out and fusion taco food trucks as a bonus? Yes please!

Yes, it’s crowded! Yes, parking can be a hassle unless you pay to park in the nearby parking structure. However, I have seen some great bands and had some really fun times at The Troubadour over the years. It’s a great venue to see live bands!

I came here a few years ago to see You Me At Six. Street parking was a bit of a hassle and we just ended up parking in the parking garage across the street from the venue.($ 10) The line to get in was short, granted we got there early. The venue was small which made me fell in love with it even more. No matter where you stand, you will get a good view. The sound system was great and the crowd was roaring. Everything about this event was amazing. My friend and I really enjoyed it. The line up for this event was awesome. I came here a few years later again to see the same band! I was so stoked because it was also around the same time I went for the first time. I just can’t get enough of them. My boyfriend and I tried to find street parking. We thought we found a spot and we read the street signs to see if we were okay. We thought we were in the clear but just as we were about to leave this guy who was working in this parking lot across the street told us that it was not safe to park there. Basically he said not to park there. We ended up parking in the parking garage across the streets again. The same deal, no waiting in line and we got in without a breeze. This time I was old enough to go to the bar. After getting our drinks, we enjoyed the show. The openers did an amazing job. Of course, You Me At Six played phenomenally. This was my boyfriend’s first rock concert and he enjoyed the vibe. I truly adore this venue!

Was back here last night for the first time since like, 2005. Still a great place to see shows. We didn’t find street parking & were low on cash for the parking place across the street. Security let us inside to get cash at the bar before entering for the show. Mellow, friendly staff, good vibes, not overly packed.

After months of waiting, I was super excited to see San Cisco last night, but also as excited to the Troubadour! The security was pumping up the crowd, and parking, while slightly confusing due to the streets, was easy to find. This venue is small, and there really is no bad view, unless you’re like me and are short.(Ladies I recommend wearing heels if you can handle them) Once you’re inside, it’s easy to find your spot and wait for the show to start. My only problem was with the crowd rather than the venue, but overall it was great. I’m excited for the next opportunity to go to the Troubadour!

I’ve always loved this venue! Small and up close is what you get when watching concerts here. I just love that! The room just fills up with so much energy and you can really connect with people and give your shout outs clear as a bell and most likely get a response from the artists. I’ve always been right up front by the stage and man, it’s like being in a music video looking up in awe! The last concert I attended was a gift from my brother Robert P. to see the Goo Goo Dolls and I loved every minute of it. The speakers were more than half my height and I was right in front of it… thought my head was gonna blow off but thankfully didn’t. The sound control guy made it so that the vibrations were wild enough to enjoy but not give you migraines for days.(Easy on that bass) A historical place that premiered notable legendary artists like Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell, Elton John, Steve Martin, Neil Young to name a few. Countless jam sessions and music in the making. Oh to be a fly on the wall. :)

I had such a great experience at my first time at The Troubadour! This venue is way smaller than I thought it would be. Even though we got there right when the doors opened, and there was a pretty long line ahead of us, I was pleasantly surprised when we entered and saw the layout of the venue. Since it is a smaller venue, there isn’t really a bad spot in the house. I was pretty confident that I could stand anywhere and have a pretty great view of the stage! Downstairs was all standing room, but there was also a loft area that has some bench seating. Ok, let’s talk logistics. I bought my ticket online, and opted for will call. Picking up my ticket took less than a minute, including the small line I stood in. I just had to slide my ID to the teller, and they passed it back with my ticket. So easy! They do check bags, which I think is a good thing, but it does not slow the move of the line — they are pretty efficient about it. If you are 21+, you can show your ID and get a wristband for the bar. The bar is also upstairs, and the wristband is required to get there. We didn’t end up going up there, but it looked cool, and I’d like to check it out if I go back. Smaller venue, quick and efficient service, several different places to view the show, and inexpensive tickets — there are so many things that make me love this place. If the opportunity arises, I won’t hesitate to come back!
