before building my recording studio, i investigated several different options for flooring. after discovering and weighing the pros and cons of laminate vs engineered hardwood vs solid hardwood vs concrete, etc etc etc, i decided that solid hardwood was my best option. the only problem — solid hardwood is expensive. my neighbor suggested going «green» and checking into reclaimed wood. when i did, i found doug from resource conservation group, llc. he informed me of a load of solid red oak flooring that he wanted to sell. he kindly obliged breaking off part of the flooring to sell to me despite wanting to sell it all together in one big load. he did so at an unbelievable price. now i am looking at my beautiful solid red oak floor in my beautiful studio. the floor is insanely inspiring and eco-​friendly to boot! this is definitely the way to go for reclaimed wood. call this guy today!
