Came here for a meeting. They can make a good Moscow mule. It was a fairly quiet night, but I really liked the place! Would definitely come back!

This place is rad. Chill vibe during the week. Happy Hour 5 – 8. Taco Tuesday is AWESOME with really good food and discounted drinks. The drinks are real tasty, and service is fast. Weekend is much busier. Good place to go and dance with your friends if you’re in West Hollywood. Staff is nice. Patio is nice. Drinks are strong. GO.

Eli and billy security they a best security ever. My first time in this bar but if not them I just leave this place with 1 star review but they make this place good 5 star. Without them this place is suck. Ask for them if they not here then don’t go. They have rule if you go outside you have to stay in line that no good My first time I say leave this place but this guy keep me and make me happy. If not them i never come this place but know i am happy. I am going to do my birthday here because of them

Great old school vibe here. I ve only been for Happy hour where it’s very chill and relax. At night it’s a lil too crazy and load and the music sucks. Would be soooo much better if they played music from back in hollywoods golden years.

Came here for my friend’s birthday, and MAN this place was poppin’. Great things here were 1) Great DJ, 2) Lots of people/energy in their 20s, and 3) Great drinks. I was shocked they had a live DJ. It kind of felt like we were at a club, but it was just bar. The DJ was playing 30 second remixes of 2000s hip hop, pop music, from early 2000s until now. 30 second snipits sounds annoying, but it was actually kinda cool. I appreciated that this crowd seemed to fit my age group of late 20s. It was a diverse crowd too — not all Asians, whites, gays, Persians, etc. It was a mix of everything! It was crazy crowded too, but since it was Coachella weekend, it was less crowded(?!). There’s an outdoor area if you want a smoke and sit down. The drinks were fantastic — loved that strawberry one — but man they were expensive. Five drinks and 90 dollars later… I was having a great time but my wallet was crying. All in all a great place to celebrate for a birthday! Get ready for the fun DJ and dancing.

Had the yellowtail toast. This was legit nasty. Moscow mules were average, ten bucks a pop IIRC. They also have a boilermaker. Music super on point, great DJ, nice atmosphere. Overall, kinda overpriced, esp for nasty food.

For dinner it’s ok. The waiters are absolutely retarded, lost my card that was on hold and appalling customer service. They need to hire more people for the bar during weekends and teach them manners. Best best: Go to Bar Lubitsch, Hudson or Laurel Hardware. 100% great customer service

Arrived Thursday evening to hear some nice music. For some odd reason, traffic was very light, and I got here very early. Ordered two appetizers and a drink while waiting. Enjoyed the calamari and ahi toast. Yeah, it was kinda expensive considering the portion size, but the flavors were good. There were two or three bartenders, who also doubled as the waiters/waitress. All three were polite and kind. There are booths around the edges, a patio area, and two lounge areas with oversized chairs. I sat at the bar to eat, lounge area #1 to wait for the band I wanted to see, then lounge area #2 for the music. The place was comfortable enough. Wouldn’t mind showing up again for other shows!

Big big big fan of this spot! The layout of the bar is great– it’s one gigantic rectangle with an outdoor area to escape to. The music at Harlowe really makes this place. You get a good mix of old school rap and new school hip hop. The bar tenders make the drinks a bit stronger and are all really friendly. I love coming here

This is a really cute place. On a Monday night, the service was exceptionally slow. And apparently, you have to order from the bar – which they don’t tell you until you sit there for 15 minutes w/no service. The food is okay, it’s tasty but not filling. This is definitely a drinks date place. As we were leaving, a small live band was beginning to play, so that’s nice. Overall, it’s a cool place, but I wasn’t terribly impressed w/the whole experience.

Very cool place, but I have dislikes — gets overly crowded quick(make table reservations) — waiters are somewhat in disarray — bartender with mustache is an A$$Hole — drinks don’t match the price tag But the manager is really cool

My friends and I, all thirty-something professionals spending plenty of money at this establishment, and in no way acting raucous or drunk, were just shushed moments ago by the bouncer, for purportedly speaking too loud. Seriously. This is a bar. We were here for a friend’s birthday. If your idea of a good time is visiting the library, Harlowe may be the bar for you. I, for one, will never visit again. Management, you may want to consider your choice of bouncer. Honestly, the problems don’t end there. The interior is not inviting. The food is terrible. I’ve been there a couple of times, because I live across the street, and it’s never full. The happy hour was not particularly cheap – which is problematic, given that the food is bad. Bar food has to be either good or cheap. The only good thing about the bar was the bartender – there was only one, he acted as both server and bartender, and he somehow managed to attend to everyone quickly without being stressed or overwhelmed. That guy deserves a raise, some help, or both. I left that guy a huge tip. The only bright spot in an otherwise crappy experience.

I’ve been here many times and this is my go-to bar in LA. My favorite thing is the dance floor area and the DJ — he always plays such great tunes(throwbacks!) to dance to and you actually get excited. A mix of new and old, and it never gets boring. They also are«heavy-handed» on the drinks in my opinion — I had the moscow mule, too much ginger beer for me yet nevertheless, whatever else was in that drink did the trick for the night. Shots are ~$ 10 and I would argue they are close to 1.5 or double shots. So many great memories… only thing, arrive no latter than 10:30 — 10:45…the line around 11pm onwards is always horrendous. And, I can’t forget– they have a little«Photo Booth» on the dance floor that takes short videos of you and your friends(or, in my case, some extra random’s that turn out to be cool).

Amazing drinks Great crew What’s not to like? Harlowe is where it’s at. During the weekend some amazing local Djs play here and the crowd is a mix fun sort. I never come here expecting the same thing.

The Harlowe was a nice surprise. I was having a particularly rough day so we decided to stop by to get a few stiff drinks and some yummy food. It was my first time here and I was very undecided about what to drink, but the bartender/mixologist(unfortunately I don’t remember his name but he was amazing) literally made me the best drink I could’ve had that night. It was strong, smooth, and just what I needed(so I had 2). My friends had the clams and chased them down with vodka shots, and they loved it. I don’t eat clams so we ordered steak fries and they were deeeelicious! I really, really like this establishment(the décor is lovely as well) so I highly recommend that you stop by and check it out! I know we will be returning soon! :)

Nice long happy hour on Sunday nights! $ 8 for their special cocktails and deals for well drinks, beer and wine + food specials! My Moscow Mule was a little on the sweet side for my taste but the vodka soda was great and I really enjoyed the fries. This bar has a great vibe, tons of seating and friendly staff. Street parking isn’t too hard to find, just be mindful of signs as there is quite a bit of permit parking in the surrounding area.

This West Hollywood throwback bar is legit. The happy hour is filled with great cocktail options and better than your average bar food fare. When you walk in to this bar you’ll feel like you’ve been transported to an earlier time. At Harlowe they’ve done an exceptional job in presentation. The interior is furnished with tables, chairs, lamps, and other custom fixtures that could have been commonly found in establishments of Hollywood’s Golden Age. If the vintage décor isn’t enough to enchant, the drinks and the service should be enough to suffice.
