Golden Rule Liquor! It’s my go to spot, the employees there are friendly and helpful. I walk in and I feel like I’m talking to my friends. I feel safe and comfortable going there, knowing that I won’t get screwed over or the cashier overcharging me. They’ve got good prices and a great selection. They remodeled recently and it looks great! I highly recommend this liquor store if you’re in the area and looking for good prices. The best part about it is its open till 2 a. m EVERYDAY even holiday’s. THANK YOU GOLDEN RULE LIQUOR!

Carries NAT SHERMANS.. . even Phantasia’s (the rainbow cigs) all at a decent price, too. Some booze is more costly than avg but that’s the way the cookie crumbles. They’ve hooked me up w deals when I’ve asked, presumably simply cause I’m a regular/​local chick/​customer. & though I only buy lottery Tix like 4x a year, the only time I’ve ever won was from them. .. ’twas only $ 11.. . but still.
Guess main point is that IMNSHO they’ve got good vibes.. .. time to publish this cause I’ve been unable to sleep to due crying all night since a love of my life just died.. . & I want smokes.. . & I think they should be just about open by now.. .

Corner Rule Liquor store on Santa Monica has a sketchy and dirty Weho vibe to it. It feels as though it’s full of promiscuous activity. Only in Weho.
Based on my experience, the clerk was a bit friendly with a slight attitude. I just came to purchase some cigarettes and a lighter. An older clerk helped me and was not as rude as I thought as it was mentioned in the other reviews. The store is old, dirty and smells like dirty sex.
It’s convenient to the neighboring apartments and by Santa Monica Blvd.

Everything is great about this place, it still has that dirty WEHO vibe from back in the day. The staff is friendly and Eric has been there since I had a fake ID. They also still carry airplane bottles of liquor. The reason for 4 stars and not 5 is that dirty ass dude that always bothers me for cigarettes and change. I think he needs to get his eye dotted, maybe both incase he didn’t get it the first time.

This is a neighborhood mini market and liquor store. It’s a little ghetto and dirty but that’s what makes this store appealing.
Good selection of beers, wines, and spirits from high end to budget. The market section of the store has your typical products. Chips, cookies, ice cream, toiletries, and little odds and ends you may need last minute.
The staff is nice, friendly and helpful expecially Chris. The prices are typical for any neighborhood market. Plenty of free parking in front.

This has been my neighborhood go to for almost 4 years. I can pop down to the end of the block and pickup whatever I need. The guys have been working there for years and all know us they are good people and I would like to thank them for their hard work.

The inventory at this shop is very solid. They don’t have any exotic beers or liquors, but they have seemingly unlimited stocks of the old favorites. What really makes this place, though, is the staff. The folks that work this counter are almost uniformly fantastic, with perhaps one major exception (locals will know what I’m talking about). For all my beer and wine needs, I make it a golden rule to hit up Golden Rule.

I SWEAR TO GOD WHAT I AM ABOUT TO WRITE IS TRUE. Could easily win the award for Biggest Jerk owner. There are dozens of stores.nearby. The owner Mi%# LITERALLY got angry at me because i was bringing to much money to his store and was uncomfortable with me buying so much of a specialty item cause he was afraid he’d get robbed. THIS after over a year of doing business there. That incident happened TWICE and was a few months ago and Ill never ever go back. Now another store gets my $ 7500.00 per month

Very good beer selection. Lots of mexican and imported beers in regular and big cans. They have light beer too which most liquor stores don’t have.
I was at Bristol Farms and didn’t want to buy a 6 pack all I wanted was a single of a light mexican beer but no go. Golden Rule however did me up just right with about 4 or 5 to choose from!
Their cookies and chips and other stuff has been fresh (no expired dates).
Not a bad liquor store and the guy is friendly although doesn’t remember you… oh and it’s a $ 5 or $ 10 minimum for credit cards

Love this joint. Since it’s hard to find a good place that sells beer near Fairfax High, I usually roll here. Prices are average, but their selection is pretty solid. Plus, they sell 6-​packs of Bud Dry for $ 4. …Basically, I love any place in LA that dishes out a 12-​pack for $ 8. Ha!
