Fetch! Pet Care

We have been using Fetch for the past 5 – 6 years and have no complaints. They are super consistant and respond quickly when we need to switch something up or schedule a walk last minute.
We love our current dog walker, Curt, who has been consistant in our lives since we moved to Sherman Oaks about 4 years ago. He’s basically family at this point. He is reliable and the service has always been top notch. He sends a text every time he picks our boy up, leaves a note about the fun they had that day and confirms when he’s scheduled to return. When I’m home to see them interact, it warms my heart — Bixby gets SO excited. They love each other so much, it’s just so refreshing to know Bix is in good hands when they go out on their adventures.
On the rare occasion Curt has been on vacation or unable to get Bix, they have always let us know well in advance so we can arrange to meet the walker who will be covering those walks. Our dog is like our child, I would never let someone care for him if I didn’t trust them, but we trust everyone at Fetch with our furry son. I highly recommend them!

Great job. Our sitter was very thoughtful and even sent us texts with daily updates — it was the first time leaving our new cat, so it really gave us piece of mind. I plan on using them again for all of our pet sitting needs.

I, too, cannot say enough good things about Fetch! I have 2 cats, one of which is diabetic. I get nervous about having someone else take care of them and administer insulin shots 2x/​day. But the staff at Fetch assured me that they would provide me with an experienced cat sitter (and a back-​up). And let me tell you — they delivered! My sitters are awesome — always giving me a full report. I feel confident that my boys are in good hands while I’m away. Fetch is always super quick to respond to my service requests and so friendly, too. I highly recommend them!

Fetch! Pet Care allowed my two birds to starve to death while under their care for a week. What more is there to say? I was completely horrified and my two boys were traumitized. We immediately changed services, and I would urge people to stay away from this business.
Some brief background. We had been using Fetch! to dog sit when I was travelling out of town. After awhile, I added two parakeets to the family, and I called and asked whether they could feed the parakets as well. They assured me this would not be a problem. I showed Jamie how to care for the birds, which consisted of emptying and refilling their seed dish and water daily.
When I returned from a couple of short trips, I noticed that the seed dish was filled to the brim with only empty seed husks. I mentioned to Jamie that, unlike a dog which will empty its dish completely, a bird eats the seeds and leaves the husks. So a dish can appear to be full but in fact only be full of empty husks. I underscored the importance of refilling the dish with fresh seeds each day, and he agreed.
My next trip was longer, approximately a week. When I returned, my boys when to their room and discovered that both birds were dead. Their seed dishes were completely empty, with only a few empty husks scattered around, and their little stomachs were bloated. In short, they were showing all the signs of not having been fed at all while I was gone, and then in despearation trying to eat seed husks to survive, and finally both dying of starvation. Horrible!!!
I called Fetch! and they apologized. However, I still had two dead birds and two traumitized children to deal with.
Stay away from this company!!! Based on my experience, I do not believe that they are competent to care for animals.

I cannot say enough good things about FETCH Pet Care! I have been a client since June 2007 and my three dogs absolutely love their «aunties»! Every week I get a report card about their walk and it is fun to come home and read it.
I also appreciate having the peace of mind that I know I can trust them with my dogs and home. Being able to actually go out of town and have them stay overnight is a huge plus as well — boarding is not an option that I’ve ever wanted to pursue.
