Brett is the best therapist for anyone living with pain and stiffness. He is a true professional with a caring nature. He’s the only therapist who gives me real results and makes me feel completely at ease.

As you can see from other reviewer’s comments, Brett provides a superior massage. I would like to focus on the kind, warm, loving spirit of this man. Without a word you can sense his wonderful energy and soul. I know that an appointment with him is time spent with someone who loves what they do and has an enormous heart that is open to create a peaceful experience.

I’m a long-​time Unilocal lurker, and I am popping my review cherry because Brett is so amazing!
Quick-​and-​Dirty: Brett’s ability to feel out my muscles and target my areas of tension with great precision and pressure catapulted him to being my best massage experience EVER. The space of his office was a bit disorienting at first because it’s in a non-​descript building and I am used to spa-​like settings, but those became such minor considerations in comparison to Brett’s skills.
Long Story: I’ve had several deep-​tissue massages in the past from a number of different therapists. I do a lot of weight-​lifting and I sit in front of a computer for 60+ hours per week for work and general web-​browsing; basically, I have a lot of knots and carry a lot of tension in my muscles. Many times throughout the day, I can actually feel the soreness in my upper back from the tension in my muscles. I look for someone who can really attack my tense areas and get my muscles to relax.
My session with Brett began with a conversation on what my needs were and what I hoped to get from our session. Brett was very kind and explained his background and how the session would go. From there, I was floored.
Even with a lot of pressure, I generally don’t make noises during massages. During my session with Brett, I broke this trend and did something else I’ve never done during a deep-​tissue massage: I requested a break! Brett has the strongest hands I’ve experienced — enough to make all former deep-​tissue massages I’ve had seem like child’s play. This is not to say that Brett is only for those wanting a deep-​tissue massage — he varied his pressure throughout the session and I can imagine that even someone wanting a less deep, more relaxing session would walk away with the best massage they’ve ever had. As for me, I wanted everything worked out! And at one point, I was so overwhelmed with pleasure-​pain that I almost started giggling out of euphoria.
At the end of my session, I stood up and I felt different. Parts of my body that I wasn’t even aware were tense now felt like jelly and I felt taller. Basically, I can’t wait to see Brett again, and I don’t plan on looking for a different therapist anytime soon!

Brett is a life saver!
If you are in pain just go to him, I have only great things to say about this guy, he is all about fixing you and make you feel better.

Brett is excellent. His understanding of physiology and the body as a holistic system is what I was looking for, and he takes a technical approach of learning what my issues are and addressing them, instead of any sort of standard massage. As a result it’s way more productive, and I leave feeling like things have been shifted around and loosened up and can start to heal. Highly recommend seeing Brett for this kind of work.

Just finished a session with Brett, hands down best massage therapy I ever had, he’s not just massaging random parts, he knows what he is doing, He knew how to trigger all the point that were connected to my shoulder problem I been having with boxing, seems like he’s really looking for the problem, not just there for the money like other places make me feel, thanks Brett, I’ll be back very soon

Today was my 4^th massage with Brett. I found him just searching, ‘massage near me’, I saw all the 4 stars review, read a few and was convinced that this was my guy. My back was in sooo much pain, I literally would get up in the morning stooped over. I’ve been coming once a week, after my 3^rd session with some stretches that Brett showed me, I was 90% better. I’m not going to tell you it was relaxing, it was not, it was painful, pressing on the tight muscles wasn’t fun but it did the trick. I knew I was in a hands of an expert. Brett is everything everyone says on the reviews below and more. Big guys, big and strong hands, gentle energy, truly a pro.

Brett has amazing powerful hands and knows how to professionally target your weakness points. His room is very relaxing and you will leave feeling like a new person. Will definitely go back!

Went to Brett because I have chronic pain from sitting too much — back, neck, glutes, etc. I’ve had tons of massages, and I can definitely say his was one of the best. I chose him because I need extremely deep tissue work, and he did not disappoint. Even though my knots are stubborn as sh**, he didn’t stop until they were annihilated.

Brett gave me the best massage I’ve — ever — had, and I’ve had hundreds, surely. He was extremely thorough, unarguably skilled and also kind. I’ve never met another practitioner more intuitive than he is. Often in this setting a practitioner will ask you what you need, but sometimes we don’t know ourselves. Perhaps our shoulders are tight? We’re stressed and need to let go? This is certainly Brett’s calling. He knew what I needed better than I did. And I feel wonderful. Thank you, warmly, Brett. I have to say that I was a little taken aback by how handsome he was in person, but Brett quickly put me at ease with his approachable energy and gentle demeanor. I have a torn rotator cuff from Martial Arts and he knew exactly what to do to help alleviate the pain. I found him to be very strong yet nurturing in his massage while being very knowledgeable about how and when to exert pressure on the injured area. I was so impressed that I purchased another massage (for a future date) upon the first one’s completion. The second time I went, I was in more pain from a lot of physical therapy and Brett listened to my requests, giving me a more gentle and healing massage that was perfect and had my body humming when I left. I couldn’t move my neck with any ease for a week and a half. After an hour with Brett I felt like I literally just had a weeks vacation in Hawaii. He’s amazingly talented !!

I discovered his practice through Groupon. I had booked my appointment on Oscars Sunday, so getting here proved to be a challenge, and finding the place was a bit difficult. Once I entered the building, I was thrown off by the empty office it was located in, but once I entered the massage room, I felt a completely different atmosphere. I became more relaxed, the calming music took me to another place and suddenly, I forgot all my worries. I recommend Laura, she has the magic touch! Would go back here again!

Brett was very professional and welcoming. He takes the time to talk to you about any concerns you might want him to address.
The massage itself was great. Brett could sense when to apply more or less pressure. Just enough to get out the ‘kinks’ without being painful. It was very relaxing… to the point that I wanted to stay and nap for a bit afterwards.

Located conveniently on Santa Monica and Fairfax, Brett’s massage studio is serene and a nice little escape from all the chaos and stress from life. I went in for a swedish massage, and he delivered it to me beautifully. I guess being over 6’2″ tall (i’m guessing) it’s effortless for him to apply the pressure with his strong hands. Yes, there were times when I thought my muscles were gonna burst like a water ballon, but let me tell you it felt absolutely amazing afterwards! I slept like a baby that evening :) highly highly recommend him!
