I took time off work because I needed a mammogram. I sat there for an hour waiting to be seen and after I complained about the wait time, Nurse Ratched at the front desk informs me that her computer is down and she can’t verify my PPO insurance, and that I have to reschedule. Not a problem Francine. Do you know how many other diagnostic centers are there in the valley? I hope your employers are reading this.

Have been coming here for years — since the whole ACA kicked in, my PAYING insurance was billed $ 401.17 for a MAMMOGRAM!!! and they bill now under ‘hospital misc.” leaving insurers to pay for the whole thing — no one is ever available to fix screw ups and they want payment.

Appointments are prompt. The staff are always so kind and friendly, the technicians make you feel very comfortable which helps make the tests etc easier to handle.

The staff at the Women’s Diagnostic Center at West Hills are so kind and friendly. I’ve been fortunate to receive assistance from Thelma. She is caring and gets to the bottom of things, explains processes. More people in the medical community could benefit from training with her. Also, the technician (sorry, forgot her name) is gentle and very warm-​hearted. Mammograms and biopsies can be a scary process but it is bearable with the kind people of this center. My only critique is that they fill up their appointments on Mondays. I suggest scheduling a different day of the week.
