I recycle in hopes to doing my part to save our planet.
People who work here are friendly, bilingual (Spanish & English) and graciously assist with carrying your recyclables –if needed. It’s not really their job to help one carry your recyclables, but these people were nice enough to help me when I needed assistance.
On hot sunny days, like today, prepare to roast while you wait to in line for CRV payment. There is always a wait for the CRV machines, but one could also be refunded by the total weight as well. Oh, BTW don’t be afraid of those folks who looked like they haven’t bathed in awhile, they’re earning an honest living collecting recyclable from public spaces and helping our planet too. Bring sunscreen, water, and a hat! No shade covering here!
Make sure to separate your recyclables: cans, glass bottles, plastic bottles and crush the bigger 3 gallon water bottles too.
