Karen Whipple Studio

We were first lucky enough to be gifted with a free lesson with Karen from a friend. We could never have anticipated how wonderful our session with her would be.
I convinced my three boys to try out musical theater. They needed to sing for their audition — something they were not at all happy about. They weren’t any more happy that I was taking them to some singing coach (Karen) where they feared they may have to do silly exercises and embarass themselves. Karen instantly made them feel at ease, did use exercises which they ended up being grateful for (they continue to use them and have increased their range as a result) and was inspiring and encouraging with excellent practical and creative advice. Walking out of the lesson, my boys asked if we could switch from instrument music lessons to voice lessons with Karen.
We continue to go back! The boys always walk away with confidence, and a literal edge in bettering their performance. I attribute a great deal of their success in landing lead roles to her work with them. We learn something new and the boys increase the tools in their ‘acting tool kit’ every time we meet with her.
I would highly recommend anyone to invest the time and money to work with Karen!
