After my partner and I left red lobster to return to our toyota camry, we noticed that some one had struck and damaged the mirror on the outside of the drivers side. The glass was broken off, and it was hanging from the car. We were told by erika, the manager, that according to their video, a toyota suv white had struck our car and that is what caused the damage. Security was notified but the person didn’t seems very energetic or sympathic to us. He took us for a few minutes around the parking lot to see if we could find the suv with no good results. I called the police but it was 45 minutes before they arrived. A police report was made, but the video didn’t show the driver or license number so I will have to pay about $ 300. to replace the mirror. I will never go back to this shopping center again, until security improves. I really feel I did not get very good treatment at all. Be carefu when you park at this shopping center. Harold Longanecker Reseda, CA I was very hurt at the way I was initially treated by the manager of the red lobster and the security people as well. However, I reached out to the coporate office and the director of operations spoke to me on the phone. Even though they were not legally responsible for what happened to my car they felt I was due some kind of compensation, so I received a nice size gift card in the mail. The insurance company told me that they couldn’t be held responsible for what happened to my car anymore then if I had someone park in my drive way and their car was hit, it wouldn’t be my fault. I told them if someone came to visit me and their was damaged I would feel a moral obligation to help them in some small way. It was nice to see a large corporation like the Red Lobster to show that they«care» about their customers.
