Dr Dan Reimer was my vet for 25 years. Unfortunately the new office is too far away from us.
Dr. Dan is the best vet I’ve ever seen bar none. We had a Lhasa with bleeding ulcers. No one thought she would survive to a year but thanks to Dan she lived to 10 with an excellent quality of life. He truly cares about his patients and their people parents. My current dog Bob hates going to the vet but always adored Dr. Dan. If you want the best, go here.

We followed him from another practice, where he was our Vet for over 11 years. Not only is he knowledgeable, he is also one of the most compassionate Vets I have ever known. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with the care of my little family members and would have followed him to Alaska, if we had to. Thankfully, we only had to follow him to West Hills.

*** STAY AWAY FROM THESE MURDERERS. If I could give negative stars I would. My (4) month old pup was kidnapped and recovered by the West Hills Animan shelter and was sent here to be neutered, while having sustained a head trauma. My SON wasn’t even old enough for the surgery to begin with, let alone a head trauma. They treated me like a piece of crap off the street just because my «dog was sent by the shelter, and they were the ones funding it at a very low cost»
All they cared about was getting paid and my son being another number. The receptionist and office manager was the most disrespectful insensitive human (if you can even call her that) that I have ever come into contact with in my life. I insisted he NOT have the surgery; he was NOT ready and his testicles hadn’t even DROPPED YET. Of course it was out of my hands, and they conducted the surgery not only AGAINST my SONS best medical interest, but against MY WILL. WHAT ARE WE LIVING IN A COMMUNIST COMMUNITY NOW? I’m an advocate, only rescue animals, and had NO INTENTION ON BREEDING WHATSOEVER. Did they care, no…

We all know how hard it is to find a new vet & clinic. That is what we had to do after our vet for 20+ years retired. We wanted a vet that would take our dogs’ needs to heart and treat them and us with respect and not order unnecessary tests that were only a precaution. In other words, we wanted to find a local vet that didn’t gouge us but that would take the best care of our dogs. We found that at All Pets Medical Centre. All the doctors, Dr. Martin (since retired), Dr. Ram, Dr. Sung & Dr. Menighed that we have seen, all are caring and professional respecting our feelings and more importantly helpful to our dogs. Of our three dogs one was recently dx’d with an immune-​mediated disease. At All Pets, the cost for the diagnosis & treatment is less than 50% that it was at another clinic and the treatment exceptional. The office manager & staff as well as the animal techs are courteous and gentle with our pets (and others we’ve seen). All Pets Medical Centre does not over-​charge you and does not order unnecessary tests. In fact some of their medicines are a lower cost than if you bought them at Costco. We highly recommend All Pets Medical Centre.

I brought a dear older dog who had come to me from a family member for dental surgery. His teeth were horribly rotten, and he was obviously in great pain. All Pets does this service for a lower fee than many dentists, and they were very clear, with the initial consultation, what added costs would be for complications. My dog ended up needing 17 extractions. The vet was able to save enough teeth for him to chew. She was very personable and communicative and obviously cared about his well being. She gave me careful follow up procedures. He healed quickly and comfortably, and now, a month later, he is like a new dog! Loved the staff. Loved the doc. Many thanks!

Do not give this place the pleasure of taking care of your pet, because they won’t they’ll just kill them or make them worse. My dog was killed by a a standard procedure they did.
I had previously raved about this Place when Dr. Martin was still there’s hen he suddenly retired Dr Martin had quoted me a low price to remove the hematoma from my dogs ear
When I decided to take my dog to get it removed they told me Dr Martin had retired and they had a new Vet now and prices had gone up they charged me double the price that I had been quoted.
I went ahead and booked his appointment because my dog was in pain. When I picked up my dog he didn’t seem normal I questioned them and they told me everything was fine. He seem to be having trouble breathing he was making a snoring sound. My dog died a day half later. It was horrible time for my family. I contacted all pets and they just gave me and my husband the run around. The vet never called us back. Don’t go there they will kill your dog and not Give a damn of what they did or put your family through. My dog was the baby of our family. Save your family heartbreak and go to a different vet

Michelle B. I agree with the other reviewer. Blanca you are one of the nicest receptionist. Helpful and honest. Everyone there is great but Blanca stands out as the best! I only wish Dr. Ash was the full time Vet. He is amazing! My dog has congestive heart failure and grade 6 heart murmur. Dr. Ash knew right away. He explained everything in detail to me. I am so happy my baby has a WONDERFUL Vet like him! I am ALSO glad you are not coming back Michelle B#!^#H You are a nightmare!

I took my Puppy to get spayed here about a year ago. I was referred to this vet from the website Spay USA. I had an appointment and was greeted promptly. I filled out some paperwork and they took my precious baby in the back. I came back a few hours later to pick her up. She seemed to be in good spirits, had a VERY small incision from the surgery site and healed up perfectly! You can’t hardly even tell. Some dogs get huge incisions with large stitches and Scars — not my pup!
I was so happy with the service AND the price. I have recommend this vet to several friends for spaying services!

1 star because you have to. Rudest people I have ever come across at a vet, I could go on about my details, but I won’t. Head the warnings, disgusting place, including the Dr. The place & the Dr. Are run by some bitchy receptionist Blanca, & the foul mouth tech. They Canceled my appt. one day, made another appt. for the next week, never been here before, came into there gross reception area & watched Blanca administer vaccines behind the desk, not even doing it right, poking dogs over & over, witnessed the «tech» pull & drag dogs to the back… After waiting 1 ½ hours for an appt. after that I asked the tech, why I was scheduled for 11:30, & it is now 1, she rudely yelled at me & wouldn’t shut up about other people are waiting were behind, blah blah blah,
Actually there was no one there except a lady with about 8 cats & he was in the room with her for an hour and a half.
Then that blank nasty Blanca came back to tell me I need to leave, her & the girl in the back were so rude & nasty I almost punched the tech, & had to close the door on her she must of thought ghetto mentality is how you handle things…
Worst vet ever, Dr. Needs to retire, & the place needs to shut down. I don’t even think the Drs license is up to date.
DONT TAKE YOUR PET HERE EVER, not even a «DEAD» animal!!!

I took my dog Cody in for a very bad ear infection and couldn’t have walked away happier. I also took my cousin’s 2 dogs who I was sitting in after I found a box of rat poison opened and there were pellets strewn all over the house. Somebody decided to tear down the baby gate and have a party in the living room. I didn’t even know the poison was there as we gave family coming in and out of the house all the time. Thankfully everyone survived without anything major happening. Once again a great experience. The price was right and Dr. Martin is honest and patient. He’s not about the money. I know one of his old assistants and she recommended him. Im so glad he came out of retirement to start this clinic. His staff is wonderful as well.

Went here to neuter my 2 lionhead bunnies who were 4 months old, the lady in the front office was really nice and explained everything that was going to happen in detail, and told me if i had any questions. Told me to be back by 5pm to pick them up, i got there 10 minutes earlier and they were ready with some food in there travel cage. The price was great and everything was awesome highly recomended i will return

Great doctor super honest not all about the money .
I would recommend him to every one front desk people are very nice and helpful which is really rare.
I’m surprised about the reviews at this place because all I have had is a great experience !

I was referred to Dr. Martin through a friend who works for Kitten Rescue and is an avid animal lover.
He’s been our regular vet since. The original referral stated that Dr. Martin is one of the best, but can be a tad cantankerous at times. Usually when an animal is suffering or at risk because the animal’s owner is careless. Why? Because his top priority is the animal, and he’s probably tired of misinformation in a world of easy access to information. (Its 2014, and you’re shocked spay and neuter prevent many health concerns?)
Dr. Martin is a really talented, dedicated vet and extremely experienced. After all these years he still cares about his patients, and bends over backwards to make sure your loved ones live a good life. He was able to diagnose a cat that three different vets could not handle, and cure.
He also saved my cats life, performed surgery on him, and stayed a little longer to make sure everything went well. He prices things reasonably, and is kind. You never doubt he loves animals, because he lives his life modestly doing what he can to make their lives full of quality.
He can be frank and honest with you, but this is a virtue. If you need your hand held more than you need a quality vet than maybe this clinic isn’t for you, but if you value a competent dedicated, talented vet with years of experience who works for the right reasons… This is your clinic.
As long as he practices I will come to him and trust him, and I’ll be forever grateful for the service. He’s saved many of my best friends. I love him.

The doctor misdiagnosed our rabbit then later told us that our own prognosis via the web was correct. We were still charged for the initial doctor visit. While there, he was debating with another customer about her dog and apparently she was experiencing the same thing we were (misdiagnosis). Not a good sign.
The staff could be friendlier as well.
The bottom line for us was simple, we love our animals and there are plenty of other vets out there who will offer much better overall treatment. Sure we may pay a little more but what is the point of taking our animals to a vet who may or may not provide the correct treatment?
I gave two stars only because they are fairly inexpensive.

I am so disappointed with the dr. Took my 9 week old puppy in. The rescue said he has kennel cough. He was not improving after 6 days of antibiotics. I asked the dr if we should get a chest X-​ray because getting worse. He said it’s not necessary he should be better within a day or two.
I took him to another vet the day after because I just felt like something more was going on. The other vet took an xray which showed had pneumonia. He is still in the hospital right now on meds & I’ve fluids. If I hadn’t trusted my instincts he could have died. Also I think there is something else wrong with the dr. He repeats things 6 – 7 times & asks me the same questions I already answered during the visit.

I took my mom’s kitten in here to be spayed. It was very inexpensive and they did it in a few hours. They finished her vaccines as well and only have her what indoor cats need as opposed to a few other locations that want to give all vaccines, regardless of being indoor only. I just liked that they weren’t trying to change me a ton.
Of course I’ve only been here once, but I liked the girls at the front desk and they were kind to the animal.

If I could give no stars I would. I’ve been taking my dog here more than a few times. Dr. Martin does not come off warm or welcoming at all, he barely educate me when I would ask him questions and concern for my dogs health.
He told me I should neuter my dog (which I considered in the first place) but the way how he explained was so obnoxiously rude. In the conversation he told me (rudely) how I need to get my dog neutered and he won’t feel bad when my dog gets older and I’ll regret not neutering her. He also said he preaches so many times to everyone to neuter their animals and a lot of people dont (according to him). But I don’t get why he came off so rude, When he didn’t even bother asking me what I thought about it.
He brag about how good of work he does. My dog also had allergy issues and I kept on coming back because his medication was temporary which lasted shortly, and I came back for the same reasons because my dog had her many issues come back. His advice was nowhere neat helpful. I notice he has no heart for animals.
I go to a new vet now, and they’re so loving a caring. I told them bout my concern for my dogs issues and health, they educate me and the medication they prescribe my dog works permanent.
So I don’t know why Dr. Martin couldn’t figure things out with my dog. It’s common issues: allergies, skin irritation, problem with her ears etc
I believe it’s best that Dr. Martin should retire because he’s old and bitter leave this professional for someone that’s in their right mind, younger and excited to be in this profession.

We’ve taken out little guy here on numerous occasions and have nothing but good things to say about them. From what I understand, the Dr. is already financially stable, so most of the work here is done at near cost simply because he loves helping animals.
I’ll admit that the docs bedside manner may not be more direct than some may like, but he has always taken good care of our dog, so I don’t care much if he is a big talker.
It should also be noted that this place used to be under different ownership with a different vet. That may explain some (but not all) of the poor ratings and reviews. I’m surprised by the newer ones, but I obviously don’t know their situations and can’t speak to them. I can only speak from our experiences and of those who we’ve sent there, which are all positive ones.
