If you are planning on coming anytime in the evening between 7pm-1am then you may be disappointed. There is about the time that they usually have nothing. They are already quite limited when it comes to selection aside from donuts. If you are expecting a wide variety of breakfast sandwiches then this is not the place for you. The closest you will come is a toasted bagel, although they do offer premade hoagies from a local hoagie shop in the soda cooler, so there is that. One thing I must say is when you do go there during the right time everything is fresh. If you come overnight when they are preparing the donuts for the morning and if the one you are seeking is not out on display, if you ask they can usually prepare you a fresh one. They do put a big focus on a wide selection of donuts. There are loads to choose from, double chocolate, glazed, vanilla cream, boston cream, peanut butter cup, cinnamon sugar, chocolate peanut butter, marble, blueberry crumb, vanilla iced, chocolate iced, jelly filled, and on occasion holiday themed donuts(pumpkin spice in the fall) The coffee choices are rather limited. It’s either regular, decaf, or hazelnut and whatever flavor is in the iced coffee mixer. The only actual downfall to this place is it is a bit outdated both in terms of selection and well as interior. Alot of the signage inside is up from when the place was under a previous name, and the bathrooms are in need of a much needed upgrade as well as the outdated booths. That aside if you come at the right time this is not a bad place, the best part is it’s cheaper than some of the competitors.

My wife and I stopped at the Donut Connection in West Hazelton, PA for a late breakfast. I had stumbled across their website weeks prior and thought it looked interesting. I’m a sucker for a good donut. We got a half dozen; we shared some and had some for the next day’s breakfast. We chose German Chocolate, Toasted Coconut Crème, Boston Crème, Peanut, Blueberry Crumb, Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup. My wife thought the Chocolate PB Cup was the best, but I was partial to the Toasted Coconut Crème. The Blueberry Crumb was intensely sweet so I probably wouldn’t get that again. A half dozen donuts and two large coffees was $ 8.04. The donuts themselves had a lot more«body» than the super-soft Dunkin’ Donuts we get back home. Donut Connection’s donuts are every bit as good as the donuts made at a family-owned bakery. They have a few specials(coffee &2 donuts for $x, coffee with donut and egg & cheese sandwich for $x, etc.) While they have a large selection of pastries, they do not have the entire collection of what is posted on their website at all given times. Think of that as a «master list» of possibilities. The Men’s room is so small you have to straddle the toilet to close the door. My wife had no such trouble in the Ladie’s room. The décor is a mixture of bright orange, yellow and brick-face. Tables & chairs are like a ‘60s-‘70s ice cream shop, but everything was in good repair. I’d definitely go again…
