Things have greatly improved with new owners… I’m waiting to see if it’s consistent… But so far 4x. Great food. Recommend you try them

Before the new owner took over it was the best Chinese food in West Haven. Now it’s a sad place, it’s smaller portions and cheaper quality. Also whenever I used to get it delivered they always gave us the wrong meals. Then when I would return it she would charge us again instead of replacing it with the food I wanted in the first place. They also have coupons for when you go over a price they give you free stuff. But they never give it to you. On top of it, her kid is running around drooling or throwing up somewhere. That shouldn’t be seen in a food enviroment.

I love to order take out or dine in at Panda House. I tried the hot and sour soup. Sechuan beef is very good, I order extra spicy. If you like chicken, order the General Tso’s chicken.

I’ve lived within spitting distance of this place for a few years, and if this were like 2 or more years ago it might get 2 or 3 stars. The staff seems to have changed a bit, and it’s for the better. The different owner lady is much nicer and the kids aren’t around much anymore. Food is always done quick and tasty, not greasy or nasty or anything like that. Definitely the best Chinese takeout in the area especially for the price. I always get the chicken and broccoli and it’s always fantastic.

I’ve lived right by this place for a couple of years, and I can’t believe I just discovered it a few months ago. I eat here at least once a month, it’s the best Chinese food in the area. The prices are cheap and the portions are huge, I always have enough leftovers to last me a couple of days. I’ve never done delivery, but my pickup is always ready in about 20 minutes

I ceased visiting this Chinese take-​out place after the female owner’s kid vomited on her shoulder. Surprisingly she did nothing about it. She just gave a big smile and a «aww, my kid is so cute» look.
Yuk. It’s not cute and frankly it’s sad to see her kid there almost everyday. It’s not fair to the kid and it’s not fair to customers who don’t want puke covering their moo goo gai pan. What she did (actually the lack of what she did) says a lot about her thoughts on hygiene and kitchen cleanliness. God only knows what she and the cooks do in the kitchen when out of sight. Like I said, yuk. I get the squeebie jeebies just thinking about it.

If the Hulk wanted a meal, he could order from Panda House. My girlfriend and I, exhausted after a day of coffee talk and shopping decided to curl up with some chinese food and 2 bottles of vino. I swear, we ordered a normal amount of food and not only did it arrive within 20 minutes, but the portions were enormous!
For some reason, I always favor east coast chinese food to west. The egg rolls are more like egg LOAFS and the lo mein was so flavorful and tasty (rich, garlic noodles) and the generosity with shrimpies had me crying with joy.
Thank you, Panda House, for redeeming chinese food in my eyes.
Oh, and the vino was great too.
