I adore the silver dahlia and all of its pretty things! It’s a great little boutique that carries all things super-​prep: vineyard vines (men’s and women’s), Kate spade accessories (tumblers, drink ware etc), Vera Bradley, Alex and Ani, etc. They have tons of cute jewelry and gifts (cocktail napkins, notebooks, wooden wall signs, scarves) in a wide price range for any budget.
If you happen to be around on the summer for their sidewalk sale you can find amazzzzing deals (VV 50% off!!). The store is well organized and they have a really good selection. The girls behind the counter and friendly and they put together gorgeous little gift wrapped bags (or wrap items) for things that you’re giving as a gift. They also have an on the spot monogram machine!!! So cute.

How have I never been here before? This has cute unique items. Alex and ani, all sorts of jewelry, clothes, …well you name it. Great gift ideas. Wrapped my purchase for free which is always a plus.

I love this store!!! This place has so many cute things, I can spend all day here. I get so many of my friend presents here because they have something for everyone. I love the fact that they have inexpensive yet still cute and stylish jewelry and other girly items. It’s great for any budget!
The gift wrapping is a really nice touch. In fact, I prefer to go here than other places purely because the gift wrapping is so nice and convenient.

Trying to spend my hard earned money in local, smaller shops. Been here a few times now. Great for smaller gifts, jewelry but spent 200.00+ on a Spartina purse and within a week, the strap broke, ripped out of the seam. Took it back for another without any problems. Now, three weeks after that it broke again in the same spot. Spent 150.00 on a coach bag at the outlets. I’m willing to beg it will last longer than a month.

Cute place with plenty of gift ideas. They have a great Alex & Ani selection that you are bound to find something for everyone. Plenty other jewelry and accessory options as well!

If you’re into the Alex and Ani jewelry phenomenon like I am, this is the place to be! This is the place where you tell your boyfriends, girlfriends, parents, and other gift givers to go! :) This Silver Dahlia location has the best Alex and Ani selection in the Hartford area. In addition to their bracelets, they sell their necklaces as well!
If you’re not into the Alex and Ani trend, that’s okay because there is plenty of silver jewelry to ogle over. Since most of the jewelry is either costume or sterling silver, it is very affordable to buy a gift for someone or treat yourself and not feel terribly guilty.
Besides jewelry, there is a massive selection of Vera Bradley merchandise. Though I am not personally a fan of the VB line, I know plenty of people who are and I would buy something there if the occasion arises.
This is also a great place to buy a gift because they offer free gift wrapping. And you are supporting a local business!
