I am horrible at doing laundry. Like super horrible. This last cycle, I went 9 weeks without doing laundry. With that being said, I figured that going to a laundromat be would be quicker than trying to use the laundry facility in my building. They have two giant machines, four large ones and about 5 or 6 «normal» sized machines. I love that this place isn’t always very busy. A steady stream of people, but you never have to fight for a machine. I was able to use two of the giant machines, one of the large and one of the regular ones to complete my 9 loads of laundry. I love how quick the was cycle is – 35 minutes for the giant ones and 25 minutes for other ones. The dryer have no set amount of time– you pay $ 0.25 for 8 minutes. I did 48 minutes and my clothes were nice and dry. The clientele was great – not what I expected for having never gone to a laundromat. I felt comfortable enough to leave the facility to make the 5 minute drive home and come back when my stuff was done drying. Overall, I really do like this place. It’s a lot more convenient than the laundry facility in my building. One thing to note is that their machines are coin-op. However they have a coin exchange machine in the facility, which takes up to $ 20 bills.

I’ve been to The Laundry Room for two Tuesday’s in a row. How nice to sit in a clean waiting area and not have to do laundry in a competitive fashion. The machines and dryers all work. Have yet to see one with a do not use sign. The staff is friendly as well as helpful. It brings back nostalgia of a quieter time What I have trouble with is the tile floor the landlord installed. If you have on rubber soled shoes and the floor is wet then it becomes like walking on ice. Landlord needs to install mats to assure a safe environment. Landlord needs to protect a good business client by upholding the landlord responsibilities I have issues with the parking as well. The parking situation dictates that I come early the Morning so I don’t have to lug laundry across the street. Trying to get your car from the storefront parking to the street can be a test of patience and agility as well. That said, if you live within walking distance doing your laundry at the Laundry Room would be perfect. It is surrounded by an awesome selection of shops and eateries that ensure you won’t be bored waiting for the machine cycle to end.

Always impeccably clean, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the washers and dryers are large and work quickly. Free wifi is a great amenity. A little pricier than the coin op in my apartment, but worth it.

Cheaper than the coin operated one in my building. Clean and better than the Wash Tub. Nice waiting area. Friendly staff.

I’ve been going here for almost 4 months now. I take advantage of their wash and fold service, which ends up costing me just over 10 dollars a week. My clothes are always ready to be picked up either later that day or the next morning at the latest. Friendly, helpful, and courteous staff — I’ll definitely keep coming here as long as I’m in the area.

This is the ideal laundromat. The washing machines are large, the driers are larger, and the staff is very friendly. It may be a little pricier than the coin operated laundry machines in your apartment building, but the experience was worth it. The staff is very helpful and they keep the facility very clean and organized. Other reviews highlight the free wifi and coffee, it’s true– and a great touch. The price point for dry cleaning is a bit high($ 15/dress) — but the quality is there and the turnaround is fast.

This extremely clean laundrymat has new equipment and welcoming owners. I love the dryers, which cut down my wash time compared to old dryers at other establishments. Though small, the place is usually quite uncrowded. Free coffee for customers and a loyalty card program.

Just had a very unpleasant experience with the cleaners located next to Cosmos and Colonial Shoe Repair on Farmington Avenue in West Hartford. I have been going to Battistons for years but decided to give my business to them since they are fairly new to the area. So the very first item I brought there to be cleaned, came back with a new stain. The pants went sent back 3 times and was then told that the stain was impossible to remove but they refused to compensate me. They feel that it was the fault of the service where they send the clothes to be dry cleaned. Several attempts were made on my part to try to resolve the situation in a but each time was given an excuse: need to consult with their business partner, etc. I was trying to do a good deed by giving them my business but unfortunately it all turned out in a bad experience. My next step will be to contact the Department of Consumer Protection.

I came here to wash the down comforter during the day because I didn’t want to stuff it in my washer at home. The large washer machine finishes in 35 minutes and the smaller machine finishes in 25 minutes. The clientele from West Hartford seems nice. The staff was friendly and could tell this was my first time in a laundry-mat. She helped me through the process and showed me how each washer worked. There were plenty of seats in the waiting area and there is free coffee and free wifi. The wifi password is clean, which makes sense because the store is clean and it makes your clothes/bedding clean too!

Super clean facility and very friendly people. The owners greet me by name and always help me load and unload laundry from my car. They are definitely family friendly, too! Not expensive, and very convenient. A great place to do laundry.

The best, cleanest and newest laundromat in town. As i mentioned in the first sentence it is brand new in there. Parking is never an issue and it is located in between a liquor store and deli; the location could not be any better. The owner is a cool personable guy and takes pride in this establishment. The staff are friendly and helpful. You kind of feel at home with the t.v. and free coffee besides the comfortable chairs and huge windows to look out. I will only go here from now on and i am so happy they opened up in town!
