Old tired space. Attendant not very customer centric. Love the sliding front door. That’s it, really.

I’ve been going to this laundromat since 2008, and watched it go from the ownership of Ed and Esther, who were a consistent, daily presence – greeting clients, always there to help out with questions, working to repair machines as soon as they went out – to Greg, who frankly could have given a crap about machine repair, the cleanliness of the actual facility, and the management of the staff. As a self-employed individual, I appreciate frequenting small businesses, and I used to use Lindy’s wash and fold service over the years for my business’s laundry, in addition to occasionally doing my own personal laundry there. This evening, however, will have been the last time I will have gone there as a customer. Because of the nature of my work, I often finish late, and will often head over there around 7pm or so. The business is supposed to stay open till 9pm. As I was literally packing up my last piece of laundry and heading out at 8:55, the woman working tonight – brown hair, pony tail and glasses – blocks the exit door, and decides to personalize an attack on me by saying that I’m intentionally trying to make her late for her bus. A). Had ZERO idea that she took the bus, B). I’m heading out before 9PM, C). Why is her bus schedule my problem? Sadly, words were exchanged, and this is ultimately why I’m deciding to leave this business. I’d like to offer praise for the one redeeming person at this business, and that is, Maria. If you happen to go during the day(7am — 3pm), she’ll be there. She is an exceptionally hard worker, and has consistently provided superb wash and fold service for my business over the years. She goes above and beyond what any of the other employees would even dream of doing for the business. Additionally, she has had to deal with a plethora of angry customers who have watched the quality of Lindy’s deteriorate over the last 4 – 5 years only to leave to find a new laundry home. Now, it’s my turn to leave. Owner Greg, if you ever decide to read your Unilocal!page, my friend, know that from my perspective, you took a great business, and ran it into the ground. I hate to say it, but the only thing that’s saving the business now is the cash investment from the family members who have stepped in during your absence. The rest is just a sad, sad story. THEEND!

As everyone else has said, many of the machines are«resting» and have been for months. About a month ago, the bathroom sink was broken as well, and it’s only recently been replaced. It’s summer right now, and occasionally the AC won’t work, so it gets really hot in the laundromat. The owner doesn’t seem to care very much about his business, but hopefully things will improve because this used to be a pretty nice place.

So disappointed. This was my favorite laundromat for years. Not sure if the ownership has changed but this place is disgusting. Cigarette smoke hits like a punch in the face upon arrival and the uncleanness continued throughout. While«resting» was cute when it was a machine or two, it’s not cute when it’s more than ½ of the machines are doing so. It’s hard to imagine that the machines that are awake are actually cleaning the clothes. Thanking my lucky stars that this is only a quarterly trip but I will be looking for another place for next time.

I will preface this review with that I don’t normally frequent laundromat facilities, therefore I don’t have much to compare this to. The pros: free wifi, vending machine, convenient location, basic cable. The con: more than half the machines appear to be «resting» which is also known as broken, the TV might have been dancing in the year 1990 it’s a big screen but not a flat screen, and my biggest pet peeve it definitely was not clean. The attendant spent most of her time on her cell phone. The machines had soap scum and told you growing on them. Neighborhood kids came in and dribble the basketball around for about a half an hour, taking up room on the two very uncomfortable couches. I’m definitely going to try out some other laundry places before I settle for some place like this.

It’s official this place stinks. I went back to wash clothes one more time and the place had fixed no machines. Actually more washers and dryers were broken and 2 out of 3 change machines were out of service. This will be my last time doing business here.

This place is a mess with an ever increasing number of broken machines with signs that say resting on them. It’s starting to look like there is more broken machines than actual working ones. The owner does not care and I wish he’d sell it to someone who does. Do not bother.

I’ve never been more disappointed in a(formerly) favorite business than Lindy’s. When I first went 3 years ago, it was the best place in the area. Tons of reasonably priced machines, clean, free WIFI, TV, well-lit, etc. Now, more than half the machines are out of service with no noticeable repairs being done, and those that are still working are sporadic… dryers that blow cold, washers that don’t drain properly, etc. Every time I’ve been this past year, the number of broken machines increases. It seems that the owner is just collecting the quarters and not reinvesting in his business. Very sad!

They have wifi, TV inexpensive washers and dryers, clean, efficient. Attentive staff. I feel the folding tables need to have more of them.

My new favorite laundromat in the area! The facilities are clean and there are lots of machines of varying sizes, which seem to be in working order. There is also a big screen TV, couch waiting area, and vending machines. The woman working behind the counter was also pleasant.
