I don’t know how many times I’ve walked by this place on my way to Penzey’s Spices, but I’m so glad I finally checked it out. This past weekend, the beautiful weather allowed them to keep their market doors open and the waft of garlic and roasted red peppers completely enticed me and dragged me through the entrance. And I wasn’t the only one! Other confused and hungry passersby followed my lead.
La Via Del Gusto is a small gourmet Italian market with an incredible array of products, from ravioli and fresh pasta to sauces, cured Italian meats, cheeses and pastries. I’ll definitely keep this spot in mind if I need something catered in the future– I picked up a menu of their gourmet trays for future use.
Best part– and I freaked out over this– the market gets their pasta products from the infamous VENDA RAVIOLI IN PROVIDENCE. Perhaps the most glorious ravioli in all the land. Legit Italian food– my Italian boyfriend from Providence agrees :)
