Decided to give Borderline a try since we were looking for someplace«new» that we hadn’t visited in our local area. It was Saturday night and as we enter they had a cover charge of $ 5 per person so we paid our $ 10 and entered. It appeared that the cover was due to band playing this night. The place was packed and we had to stand near the end of the bar in hopes that a table or seat at the bar would open, no such luck. We ordered a couple of beers which were reasonably priced and waited for the band to begin. There’s a pool table at the«back» of the room that was also very busy. Once the band began to play we were pleasantly surprised. They sounded good and played a mix of Southern Rock and Modern Country music. I’d go see Centerline(the bands name) again. The bartender was attentive and prompt with our drinks. We spent about 2 hours in all and had a nice time.

Our friends happened to be DJ’ing at this recently opened bar, so we decided to check the place out and see if the long drive was worth it. After driving aimlessly for ten minutes in the area, we finally found the bar and saw that the parking lot was rather empty; something that’s not expected on a Friday night. There were only about 5 people in the bar. You could have heard crickets chirping were in not for our friends playing some good ‘ol country music. There are a few TV’s in the bar, great for watching sports or whatever else is on at the time. The bathrooms were fine and relatively clean. The bartender seemed to have trouble hearing our order but we finally had our drinks and settled down to see if the place would pick up. Apparently there was a bachelorette party that started their night here, but since then the place was slow and boring according to the DJ. There might have been one more couple that came in during the 2 hours we spent there, so I’m not sure how long this place will be around. According to their business card, they are the«home of the biggin burger» so maybe they have great food. Good luck, but if the slow weekends continue, it might just be another bar that fails to thrive. Good luck
