We decided to go whitewater rafting in Maine last year and picked Professional River Runners. It turned out to be a great choice for our family of 5. Our 10 year old daughter went with us and we all had a great time. This company was smaller and cheaper than others. They were very flexible and made sure everyone had fun. I would recommend and return again.

A smaller outfit, which made a huge difference IMO — this was our first time rafting, we went down the Kennebec with an awesome guide (Jason) and made it through some crazy rapids without dying =) They are very well organized, have a solid site (though do bring water for yourself to start, hydration is a good idea) and have good equipment. I liked that they were smaller too, it didn’t seem as rushed as some of the other companies out there. Price was very reasonable as well (and they have discounts through MTA and I think AAA). Would use them again readily. The Kennebec is a great place to learn how to raft imo, and these people did a great job of teaching
