The owners are very nice people and very helpful. That being said it has the potential of being a nice campground in an area that is lacking them… if you took out all the campers that are permanently there and the dogs that bark all the time. It is technically pet friendly but all the dogs that I mentioned before run free and it made my chihuahua who was on a leash very nervous. The bathrooms are very clean and nice.

Honestly, we didn’t stay — although we did drive through. The pull thru sites were dirt surfaced, and were sandwiched together and weren’t very long(most sites were back in). The place looked a little backwoods — but was almost full — so it must of had some redeeming qualities! As we drove thru looking for a site one of the campers came up to help — he told us the owners were out of town(no problem there — everyone needs a vacation ever so often), but that the fill in guy was gone right then too. He was very pleasant, and tried to help — but really had little info to offer. He did point us to the only open site that was possibly long enough for our 35′ rig — but it would only work if we unhooked our tow vehicle. After a bit of maneuvering we were able to turn the tight corners to exit the park — we decided to keep going to find another campground that better suited our rig. This place may be a diamond in the rough — but if you have a rig longer than 28′ keep going.
