Came here last night for a pre Valentines Dinner and the service was horrible. Our server did not introduce herself, didn’t offer water, we ordered cocktails and shrimp cocktail as our appetizer and we also ordered our dinner. She brought out all the food at once and forgot to give us our salad and she just seemed in a rush and overwhelmed. Since she brought all our food at once we asked if she can please bag our shrimp cocktails, so she did and tossed it on our table. The grilled salmon I ordered was dry and our mango salad had no flavor. When the server asked about our plate I told her it was dry but she never came back. The bus boy never came to clear our table. My husband and I have been coming here for years but I don’t think we’ll be coming back again.

I LOVE this restaurant! Everything you order from here is delicious! I love the food here. A lot better than most mexican restaurants I’ve been to. The service is wonderful. All around a great place. You should definitely dine here.

Boyfriend and I are always coming here when we have an hour of traffic to kill. We have never waited for more than four minutes for a table. Service is great, always on top of the chips, salsa, and drinks. Large portions for a small price. I recommend the carne mini tepeyac burrito, their guacamole made in front of you, birria, menudo, and really anything else.

For the fourth time it’s been too busy to seat people or even find parking. Because of all the people just hanging around at the bar. It seems like the place is ran by a bunch of kids. I have been dinning there for years and this year’s the service had a noticeable change. The food was decent, better than El torito at least. But now that I have to fight for a table on a week day, when visually there area plenty of open tables. My guess is that they’re prejudice against young people and small parties. So to hell with this place.

Excellent food and service every time!!! My family has been coming here for years.
It’s our favorite place for Mexican food and when I’m feeling under the weather, I’m buying the cocido. It tastes wonderful and always picks me up by the next day.
Even the owners are wonderful, love love this restaurant so much.
If you are in the area, definitely come here. You won’t be disappointed!

Ate dinner here Friday, Dec. 4th. Had the Taquito dinner plate with Cosido soup. The taquitos were plump, tender with plenty of flavor. The cosido at Villa Tepeyac has always been one of my favorites along with their posole. Sometimes I’ll just have one of those along with their excellent tortillas.
The service was prompt and friendly. We had margaritas from their full bar, they were strong enough and tasty.
All in all — we enjoyed our evening at Villa Tepeyac, they’re consistently good, one of our favorite Mexican restaurants in the area.

Just love their Red Chile burrito. Home made guacamole made right before your eyes, it’s delicious. Nice people. bar and good food. I’ve been coming here for years and just love it. They have this Giant Burrito, that is awesome.

Great food and friendly service. Very good recommendations from waiters and friendly atmosphere. This was a new item because I had never seen this option before. Easily feeds 4. Delicious.

I got the pork tamales and beef enchilada with a side of rice and beans. The tamale was dry and I wasn’t even half way done with the enchilada. The only thing I liked about my meal was the salad and the rice.
The service was okay. The guy with the glasses wasn’t a good host, he wasn’t very attentive and didn’t really seem like he wanted to be here. He never refilled our waters until we asked, never cleared out table, never asked how we’re doing. All I saw him do was talk to his coworkers the whole time. Miggy was a good host

This place could be a 5 star place. Food is great chips and salsa are probably the best and the guacamole is the best i ever had. HOWEVER, sometimes it gets so busy that the servers forget you for a whileeee.
