Very delicous empenadas. I actually tasted the eatery adjacent to this place and found that tastees was tastier… no pun intended. I have picked up empenadas for two seperate parties and everyone enjoyed them. The service needs some improvements or this would have been four stars. Overall, I would definetly give this place a try!

Empanadas lost less and always available. Hot light for fresh food comes on in the afternoon.

Best pandesal & chicken empenadas! That’s all I come here for. Their pandesal is soft, unlike Valerio’s that’s too thick and gets hard after a day or so. Empenadas have thin crust, which I like and meat is seasoned well. Oh and not over-priced

I love pandesal and I’ve been coming here for that. I love my bread dipped in my coffee… haha…that’s just how it is back home. Bread and butter served hot is just so good. My kind of breakfast.

I bought a pan de sal today and the seller is so rude! First of all, there was a white guy right in front of me bought a dozen of pan de sal with a $ 20 bill, then she gave him a changed. When it comes to my turn, she told me she cannot change my $ 20 bill and go to the front registers to ask for a change. Is it because I am Pilipina like her? Luckily the front cashiers are nice enough to give me a change then, as I walk to get back to that woman so I can buy some hot pan de sal, she was giving me the old ones, the one she was selling it to me before, I told her I wanted the fresh one from the oven and she gave me all the nasty look, nodding her head and very rude! I will never go back to such place that gives me a bad customer service!

I’ve ordered empanadas from this location several times, and every single time has been problematic. Today, though, it was so problematic that I had to come on here and give my thoughts … Every time I order over the phone, whoever answers the phone consistently misunderstands that«I want to place an order» Instead she thinks I’m calling to ask about an existing order. After telling her today that I’d like to speak to someone else, she says ok, and then immediately hangs up on me. This happened 4TIMES!!! After wasting about 15 minutes trying to order with her, I finally decided to talk to a manager. I got Phillip’s phone number and was easily able to give my order information within 1 minute of being on the phone with him(I mean, how hard can it be to take an order for a dozen empanadas to be picked up the next day???). If my girlfriend didn’t like the empanadas so much from here, I would never have come to this place to order them for her birthday. Horrible customer service and I will be actively looking for other places to buy some empanadas.

BESTPANDESAL! I have been to several other bakeries, but Tastee has the BEST pan de sal. For a dozen fresh pan de sal it only costs $ 2.50. They are soft and warm when you buy them. If you want to eat pan de sal the next day, just warm it in a toaster oven or microwave and it’s just as good. Tastee also sells empanadas, spanish bread, cheese rolls, buko pie, egg pie, and other Filipino bakery treats. The bakery is inside the Island Pacific supermarket, so it’s not really visible when you’re driving along the street.

We love the pandesal and empanada here! It’s über soft and delicious. It is always hot and fresh and it is very affordable. The pandesal costs $ 2.50 per dozen, then the empanada is $ 1 each. Their pandesal and chicken empanada is the best out of all Filipino bakeshops in Cerritos and West Covina. Cash only.

This place has the best pan de sal ever… hot n fresh! Actually taste better than valerios and tropical bakery… the others have gone down in quality and either tend to raise prices and overcook the pan de sal… It’s a sweet bread taste… they also have the miniture pan de sal. there are other items such as esymada’s and hopia… It’s conveniently located in the Island Pacific Market. I have gone to many filipino bakeries around Carson, San Diego areas and this tops them all so far in regards to pan de sal … It is worth the drive and highly recommend this place… to the left is a place that makes bibinka in banana leaves… its ok… not really sweet… and another place that makes chicken empanadas fresh from the oven its really good.
